Great product, fully worth it despite noise!
Great charger! Has plenty of power output to charge many devices at one time without any sort of problem. Definitely the best charger of its kind I have ever owned.*NOISE* As others have mentioned, there can be a low high pitched noise that comes from it. Everyone is sensitive in different ways to such a tone but in my opinion really isn't annoying at all. I only ever notice it when there's lots of devices plugged in at once after a period of time charging. It also is very faint, so only if you are in a quiet room with it going would one really notice it. If its around TV or speaker etc, the liklihood of noticing is minimal to none I would say.Long story short, don't let the noise push you away. Its a great product!

Great product, works as described!
I love this. It really does charge 6 things at once, all with full power. Other chargers slow down the charge when you connect multiple devices, but this one does not. I charge 2 phones, and 2 tablets, along with an mp3 player and Nike Fuelband without issue. I did return the first one because it made a strange squealing sound when plugged in, but the replacement came in 2 days and has worked perfectly now for a couple of weeks. I definitely recommend this.

Nice but noisy
Good build quality and nice design, in relation to price. However, it emits a weird buzzing/whining noise when plugged in. When trying to work at a desk with the unit nearby, the noise starts to get irritating after a while. Will return and exchange to see if I just got a bad unit. The design and price are worth giving Amazon another shot.UPDATE: After requesting an exchange, Amazon sent me a new unit even before I mailed back the old one. I think it arrived the very next day! I even got contacted by Amazon via email since it was an Amazon Basics product. Incredible service! However the second unit arrived and it has the same problem: Continuous buzzing when it's plugged in. This time it's a different pitch. It's not a loud buzzing and the unit charges devices just fine. But, in my quiet home office with a big window view of my garden, the sound becomes annoying quickly. It becomes all I can hear in the room. Other people hear it too so it's not just me.I'll be returning this unit for a refund but I'll watch this space for an revision to the product. It's an excellent product for the price and I have no qualms with Amazon's service. I bet the product has one component inside it that was not manufactured to spec.

Is there water or a snake inside this? Too loud and annoying.
This is by far the worst AmazonBasic item I have ever ordered. The device does what it is suppose to, which is charge multiple USB devices. The finish is nice, but the fit is annoying to say the least. The first device I received came well packaged in frustration free packaging and was nicely packaged in the box. On the surface the device looks ok but upon plugging it in and plugging in any device to charge it begins emitting a fairly loud hissing/buzzing noise. It's more like a hiss that you would hear if you had a bit of water between a pot lid and pot that you were heating up on the stove. Not normal for an electric device with no moving parts and no water contained inside. The noise was definitely too loud to ignore in a quiet room let alone a bedroom on the nightstand. It's definitely not a subtle noise that would drown out easily either.I requested an exchange and it arrived in 2 days, but even the replacement had the same issue and am in the process of returning both items. Amazon needs to go back to the OEM to address this issue as there may be a potential fire hazard with this device. I wasn't going to leave it plugged in long enough to my theory out but electronics should not be making the sort of noise this device does. If you are lucky enough to get one that doesn't emit the hissing sound count yourself lucky and give this item a decent review. I had no such luck with 2 devices so I'm giving this a 1 star.

Works, but has a noise problem.
Works. Not much else to say about something like this. I got the device because I found myself with a lot of stuff to charge beside me at night.I use this charger with non-data enabled USB cables. In fact, it's the only reason I got this vs. a Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC) 2.0 or 3.0 bank. You're not supposed to use non-data enabled USB cables with those devices (I don't know the reason). So to be safe, I got this for all of my non-QC enabled devices so I don't have to use the ports on my other bank that I got that IS QC enabled on all ports. As I mentioned, it charges all of my devices well. The block itself is rather compact and feels very solid. I got one in each color, black and white. There's a little light to indicate that the device is plugged in. You also get a nice long power cable.+4 stars because it's clean, good power. Measured, I do get up to ~2.3A per port when using all ports and my non-data enabled usb cables. I get just a bit less than that with data enabled usb cables.-1 star because I may actually have to move it out of my bedroom due to noise. The device makes a hissy/whiney noise and even though I like sound while sleeping (music, TV, etc), whenever the room becomes quiet the noise this makes stands out big time. Suffice it to say, it's very annoying if you're sitting there reading your tablet or phone in a quiet room. My wife also hears it and she sleeps on the opposite side. It doesn't wake us up, it's not loud noise, it's just consistent noise. If it annoys me, it will annoy anyone imho, especially those requiring a quiet bedroom. In the end, it's not a deal breaker for me. I'll likely move it to the living room or some other area so I can quickly pop a device or 6 to charge. I have my eye on another device, which I also own that is completely quiet. I may just spring to get another one, it's a few dollars more than this but worth it.
