TUDIA Full-Matte ARCH TPU Bumper Protective Case for Microsoft Lumia 950 XL (Purple)

Happy with my purchase!THE GOOD:The Case is definitely a good and inexpensive solution to the new 950xl, it immediately improved the feel of my phone, taking away the strong treat of dropping the phone due to the phone's innate slick/slippery finish (I Just knew I would drop the phone sooner, than later - due to the phone's slick finish).The case added a GREAT deal of protection to the face on the phone (the face is raised slightly by the case), and to the camera's lens on the back (same reason, the case is slightly higher than the lens).The case is very minimal, and allows it to fit in a new holster I purchased and like, and if the case was bulky at all, it would not have fit in my new holster.I really, really like the way the case covers the function buttons on the side of the phone - it is ascetically pleasing and helps help dirt out.One last point to mention; I purchased a tempered glass screen protect (which I like too!!) and it fits with this case - although the screen protector must be installed straight and centered (tip: I don't know how hard it would be to keep the dust off during installation, but if you can, then in theory; you can FORCE the perfect screen protector alignment by using the installed case as a placement guide for the screen protector - the screen protector " the TRUSHIELD" fits perfectly within the case - on the 950xl as least).THE BAD:Although I like the fact that the case covers the function buttons on the side (see above for reason why), I do not think the design went far enough for optimum use (definitely not your friend when you're in a hurry, and I am ALWAYS in a hurry!). If the manufacturer would either raise the up/down volume, and power nubs more - or even easier, place a small nipple on the up and down nubs (like on a TV's remote) to provide a "feel" reference. I think a combination of both would be the best solution (raise all the nubs, and place a nipple on volume controls).THE SUMMARY:Great inexpensive case and solution with some small inadequacies.NOTE: I did actually drop my phone, on the ceramic tile floor in the kitchen, during this case's installation, and I am both happy and relieved to say that the fall DID NOT damage my phone - grant it that, the phone probably landed in MY favor, but I sincerely believe that if not for this case I would have most probably incurred some form of damage - but note; it does not provide the protect as; say, an Otter Case, nor is it as bulky neither.Please excuse all grammatical and spelling mistakes - writing is not my strong suit! ;^)-E-<

Attempting to keep my Microsoft 950XL safe. Don’t make the great phone anymore, so I have to protect my ANTIQUE.

There is only one thing I dislike about this case. And that is that the buttons are not very pronounced. I found myself often times hitting the power button instead of the volume up volume (and vice versa). This is as much a fault of the 950XL's stupid button arrangement as it is is of the case but the case could have made the experience better by having easier to recognize buttons. The buttons also require a fair bit of pressure to be used.Other than my complaints with the buttons, this case is great. It's very high quality and there is a nice lip that helps protect the camera bump. I definitely recommend getting a case for you 950XL to both protect it and help you hold on to it in the first place.Qi wireless charging DOES work with this case on my phone.Note of caution: Be careful when you remove this case (any case on the 950XL), I've found that the back cover of the phone comes off when trying to take the case off, you have to hold the cover on with one hand while pulling the case off. If you don't pay attention you could absolutely break the back cover of the phone while pulling the case off (another design flaw of the 950XL in my opinion). This is a very nice case overall. It's soft and somewhat slippery in the hand, but feels really good. Like others have mentioned in other reviews, the buttons are a bit hard to find due to not being raised. They are flush with the case itself. I honestly don't mind that much, but I know that some will. It does have a nice lip up front for screen protection too. One little thing I want to point out is the little cut out arch in the back is a nice way to change the design up from a traditional case. I ordered the gray variant and it is quite a bit lighter colored than the picture shows, so be aware of that. I do recommend this case however.

Good quality product, solid and is a perfect fit. The only problem I have with this case are the physical buttons on the side. The case covers the phone's buttons with it's own molded buttons, but they are not pronounced enough to use by feel, so I have to either hunt for the buttons or turn the phone to the side to see where the buttons are. I find that it also interferes with the operation of the camera button. Unfortunately the Lumia 950/XL does not yet have double tap to wake, which would alleviate half the problem; but that the case needs better buttons is not the Lumia's fault.BTW, I decided to purchase the Tudia because of previous experience with their brand. My father has a similar case for his Lumia 830 and the product is excellent, including the molded buttons on the side, which are easy to feel and operate.I'll stick to the Orzly Fusion Bumper Case Cover Shell for Microsoft LUMIA 950 XL ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016WLUDHK?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 ). That case exposes the buttons on the side which honestly isn't much better, but it is better as far as getting a feel for the buttons.

as far as cases go, this one is top notch. the rubber feels firm and not slippery at all, it has a very slight softness to it makes it feel high quality. it doesn't add much to the phone's thickness. my only problem is (this is not the case's problem) that the tempered glass screen protector is being pushed by the case and is peeling off of the screen at the edges - but I have no idea if this is because I couldn't mount the screen protector properly or whether the screen protector is a millimeter larger than it needs to be... anyway, it doesn't bother me that much and the case is highly recommended.

Recently upgraded from a Nokia 1020 to a Microsoft 950XL. I love the new phone, but it feels too thin and fragile compared to the 1020. It is also obviously bigger in the hand, and it feels like I could easily drop it. This case is a good tight fit, makes it feel more protected, and has a bit more friction to it compared to the polycarbonate case of the phone. Definitely worth the money.My only complaint is that the three buttons at the side (volume up, power and volume down) all feel the same. I don't like this arrangement of buttons on the phone itself, but at least the volume buttons feel different. On the Tudia case they all feel the same. I'm going to end up putting a slight cut in the case (or a drop of glue?) just above the power button so that I can feel where it is.

Devo dire che questa custodia mi soddisfa molto. è nera opaca, molto rigida. leggendo le altre recensioni gli utenti dicevano che era troppo rigida e quindi durante la rimozione si toglieva anche il retro del telefono ma a questo posso rispondere in due modi: 1. una volta inserita non sento la necessità di mettere e togliere la custodia, quindi a me questo non si verifica; 2. ho notate che se si rimuove la custodia dalla parte superiore del telefono allora il dietro del telefono non si toglie a sua volta.Un paio di cose "negative": la cover è molto liscia, a volte scivola un po' dalle mani o comunque non è proprio salda; in secondo luogo si impolvera un po' ai lati dello schermo essendo la plastica anche un po' rialzata rispetto ad esso, ma questo è un altro fattore positivo: sia sulla telecamera e sul flash sia sui bordi dello schermo la plastica è più spessa quindi sia che si appoggi il cellulare davanti o dietro su una superficie in nessuno dei due casi schermo e telecamera non toccano la superficie.Sono molto soddisfatta

Ich habe die Hülle in Blau und Grau bestellt.Die Blaue entspricht weitgehend der abgebildeten Farbe. Wie schon in anderen Rezensionen zu lesen, abweichend zum Produktbild handelt es sich um durchgehend die gleiche Farbe bzw. Oberflächenstruktur.Die Graue Hülle weicht in der Farbgebung jedoch mehr ab (wesentlich heller) und gefällt mir nicht.Im Vergleich zu einem Anbieter einer etwas teureren, aber dafür Microsoft von Microsoft zertifizierten Hülle gleicher Bauart (Incipio) fällt auf, dass die Tasten hier weitgehend eine Fläche zur Hülle bilden und nicht zu ertasten sind. Das führt regelmäßig dazu, dass man die Position des Tasters suchen muss um das Mobile einzuschalten.Die Passgenauigkeit ist absolut in Ordnung, der Schutz des 950XL somit gewährleistet. Eine gute hülle zu einem vernünftigen Preis.Wer kein Problem mit den kaum fühlbaren Tasten hat, den kann diese Hülle durchaus zufriedenstellen. Ich ziehe die Incipio Hülle vor.

This case fits the phone nicely, and feels like it will give just as much protection as the one I had on my Lumia 830... The front creates a raised lip around the screen so placing the phone face down won't scratch the screen. Same goes for the rear camera lens cutout. It doesn't really add much bulk to the phone, and what it does is offset by the better protection.It feels a little slippy when new, but like my previous one, would become grippier over time and use.My only reason for the 3 star rating is the buttons on the side. They aren't raised enough to make it easy to use without looking. In the end I gave up with it and went to a different case.

A good case overall that provides good protection. Fits VERY snugly - so much so that it was a challenge to get it off without the back of the phone coming off with it. Also, dust tends to accumulate along the sides and in the corners and is difficult to clean without taking the case off. Basically, if you like bumper-style cases, this is a good one at a reasonable price. I eventually went with a wallet-style case as it suited my needs better.
