- While these may fit other brands and styles of jars and canisters, please measure your jar and old gaskets carefully.
The Le Parfait Super rubber seals are specially fitted for the Le Parfait Super Jars and Terrines. They are universal and can be used for your fruit and vegetable preserves as well as for savoury dishes, meats or casseroles. Do not use your old gaskets to decide which size replacement gasket to purchase because the used gaskets stretch out and are useless to measure. New gaskets are designed to stretch fit very tightly. Measure the jar opening and pick the closest gasket size.

So glad I bought these
The glass jar with wire bale, never wears out, I found. But the gasket? Yes. These were high quality, made in France and perfect. Do follow the instruction to measure your opening, not the old gasket. And it is very snug when you get it - it’s not too small, you have to tug and push it down around the lid rim (it took me a couple tries). But fits great, and then seals like it’s a new jar again. Off to do the other jars I have now!

These rubber jar gases my vintage Le Parfait canning jars perfectly, but unfortunately ...
... what I didn't realize was that some ignorant previous owner took off the custom-sized metal catches that make these beautiful jars work for canning! (not the company's fault.) So I will give the jars to a friend who does crafts -- they're still perfect for storing things in such a way that 1) you can clearly see them, and 2) they don't get dusty. So: these replacements work perfectly if your Le Parfait gaskets wear out. And: NEVER let anyone throw away the matching metal gaskets!

A Perfect Fit!
This set of six 85 mm Rubber Jar Gaskets fit my Le Parfait Canning/Storage jars perfectly. I really had a hard time figuring if they would fit because my old gaskets had stretched so much they looked bigger. Even though these new ones looked a little smaller I went with the size of the jars as was suggested, and when I stretched the new gaskets a little to fit them on the glass top, they fit fine and made a nice tight seal when I closed them.I will be ordering more in the future!

delivered quickly. fits the 1.5L "Super" jars
it took me a bit of research to be clear that these would be the right size for my 1.5L "Super" jars from Le Parfait. they are perfect... takes a little stretch to get them on, and then they seal and hold very nicely.delivery was super-quick!
