difficult to adjust water temp

It is a excellent heater it holds very well on the tank and heats a 55 gal tank with ease

Before committing this To my larger 75gal tank i tested this first in my 20gal tank. Within 10 minutes of setup & plugging it in the water was at a nice temp of 79 deg. which is where my mollies like it. Its relatively compact in size (approx. 10in from top of the bright orange dial knob to the bottom of the heater.) compared to similar models in the price range.You can either set it on the side or bottom of the tank glass. I like having it on the bottom for better view of my fish. Unfortunately this can make it difficult if I need to adjust the temp.The included suction cups help keep the heater securely suctioned to the glass where its placed. You really need to use the suctuon cups otherwise this lightweight device will float to the top. The entire heater, including the orange dial must be submerged fully in the tanks water at all times to make sure the device is working properly & distributes heated water evenly.It also came with a tank thermostat that is connected separately from the heater. I keep the tip of the thermostat at the farthest end of the tank away from the heater for the most reliable reading. Easy to adjust temp to desired reading by tapping the button to the desired temp.reading the temperature on the easily viewable screen.There are so many Pros to having this heater and only one Con - difficult number reading. Other than that this is a nice looking addition to any tank & can easily heat tanks up to 100 gal.

Easy to read

The heater was fast and solid. The thermometer read low and Iturned up the heater. It kept getting low so I kept turning it up. I finally checked the water temp with another thermometer and found my tank was at 90 degrees. Thermometer is crap. Don’t use it. Don’t rely on it. Check your temperature with a know good working thermometer.They would do best to not include the thermometer with the heater. It is junk!

Just updating nearly a year later and no issues! Excellent heater. I was replacing my heaters fairly often, failing every 3-6 months and it was becoming costly. After writing a post asking everyone for advice on best heaters, this company contacted me and asked if I’d put theirs to the test. Well tried..tested… and true! They have been great!
