For the price this dish set is I feel this was an amazing find and very much worth it. The reason why I bought them is because my fiancè and I we're moving out so we needed dishes of our own. The beauty of them as well as quantity grabbed my attention which led to me buying. Well, its months later and we are both satisfied with this dish set, it gets regular use whether we're having a "fancy" dinner or just a casual one and can go through the dishwasher without problem. These dishes are a very nice ceramic which gives them a bit of weight and high quality feel. I would highly recommend buying these either for yourself or to give as a gift.

I have admired this dinnerware set from afar for quite some time. But... since I already had a 4 place setting of Wal-Mart dishes I decided not to purchase what my heart longed for. Then, along came a relocation from California to Wyoming & a chance to start my life over. Believe me, talk about a C.H.A.N.G.E.!!! And... since change is suppose to be a good thing, I decided a treat was due & ordered this dinnerware set. I have not been in the least disappointed. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! There is sizable heft to each piece & the dinner plate alone, when loaded with food, would feed 4 people quite comfortable. I've actually been using the salad plate as the main plate for my meals. The bowls are shaped in such a way that spillage is almost null & void. They aren't anything like your normal round bowls & the cups hold the purrfect amount of tea or hot chocolate to enjoy on a cold winters evening. I'm extremely happy with my choice & would HIGHLY recommend this set to anyone wanting to make an excellent impression on their guests.

You get 4 dinner plates, 4 bowls, 4 breakfast plates, 4 tea or coffee mugs. They came well packed with no scratches or cracks in them. The design and color are very good. Plates and bowls are well designed and have a little weight to it.

Absolutely love this dinnerware set. This replaced two incomplete stoneware dinnerware we had before. These are just as heavy and sturdy feeling, the finish is better, and they are gorgeous. It doesn't matter what you're having for dinner, it looks way fancier on these plates. Seriously, a grilled cheese and some fries looked fancy thanks to these! Unlike all other stoneware I've ever used, these do NOT get scalding hot in the microwave. I can actually microwave something and take it out without using my oven mitts with these.

I quite enjoy this dining set. It is very beautiful. The bowls and plates are quite heavy, but that's usually what happens when you have stoneware. I've had similar issues as other users and "grey" lines show up on the white plates from using metal cutlery. People have said they get it from using their knives so when I bought this set I made an effort to not use knives on the white dishes, and be very careful when using forks and spoons. The grey lines still show up. This also oh as occurred on the black dishes but they are not as noticeable because it's black *duh*. So far these dishes are quite sturdy. I've had them for two years now and I've only chipped one corner of a plate because it slipped out of my hand, but other than that they're still in excellent condition and I use this set for every day use.

Just received this set in the mail today, and I absolutely love them! Can't wait to try them out. They feel somewhat heavy and sturdy, which is the type of dinnerware I enjoy. The design is simple but elegant and I'm in love with it. Everything was packaged pretty well and nothing was damaged during shipment.

My wife is goo goo over these things. She is talking about ordering another set to have backup for when I break something. That is my biggest fear. There is a reason the china stays in the cabinets...lol. Seriously, I have banged these and gotten nasty looks but the good side is I have banged them and they are still solid! They definitely aren't light, but i think if you know your getting good clay dishes your not expecting light. One side note, we rarely use the large plate. I am a meat and potatoes kind of guy. The only time we pull the big plates out when we have a porterhouse, or some nice racks. Those big plates are big and the smalls are pretty good size too. Bowls are super deep.

This has to be in the top 10, maybe 5 best amazon buys. So sturdy, looks better in person, and the value. Cmon. Cmon. This was a steal! Please (seller) bring these back so other people can enjoy them. I love my set!

I bought these dishes cause I was moving into a new apartment and they are so pretty! They look just like the pictures! I love them
