Great upgrade
I wanted to share a picture of the GROHE valve that this trim kit works with. As you can see my valve is kind of funky but it still works well. Will probably change out the cartridge and this cover plate at some point. Both of these items can be purchased on Amazon. This trim kit is very nice quality. And straight forward to install once you breakdown the existing trim to the valve. There are a couple of other internal parts I replaced as well because they were beat up. Grohe Eurosmart Pressure Balance Valve trimp
As other reviewers said, one touch turning, very easy to use. Nice to know where to turn it to get to the correct temperature, and have it not change temperature even when water is running in other places. High quality product, looks nice

Only works with the Grohe Eurosmart system
You'll like the finish on this metal handle...it's polished chrome color is smart looking, scratch and tarnish resistant. It's not the easiest kit to install, and I heard a few expletives from my husband before it was done. It's very easy to use with its one touch turning. You can get the perfect temperature, even when the water is already running. It's designed to only be used with the Grohe Eurosmart series for replacing an existing trim kit. It won't work with the older Grohe fixtures. I rate this item 4 stars.

The $100 cartridge leaked in 6 months
Put this in my small office shower and after MINIMAL use it was leaking. I checked it and the cartridge needed replacement. Super frustrating. Planned obsolescence. The more current faucet apparently has a new better cartridge. But this one can’t use it and I would have to break out tile to replace the faucet guts. Next time I will put in a more universal faucet that can use other cartridges (cheaper!).

Excellent quality.
I ended up returning this but it was because of my own fault. I did not look close enough at my valve. This however was a very high quality item. All metal construction, great finish. If I had the correct type valves for this to fit I would have ordered more and replaced the other ones in the house.

This is a beautiful valve trim. It was in the living room for a long time waiting for stuff it needed in order for us to install it.It's in, now.5 stars for looks, 1 star for everything associated with installing it.

Good looking update for older Grohe Seabury
Fit 15 year old grohe rough in easily; easy to install as well, looks good and very well priced.

Caution handle doesn’t dirt Grohe universal valve !
This particular Grohe handle does not fit our particular ‘Grohe “ universal” mixing valve!Unfortunately, the install took longer than predicted and only yesterday, (21 days after part return window closed), did we find out that this does not fit...We would love to exchange it for one that has the temperature control part as well; apparently that is what we need.
