Genuine bags, but not the Active filter.
I searched for "bags for Miele c1 cat and dog" and found these bags/filters. These will fit your C1, and they are the real bags, however if you own the cat and dog, or any other vacuum with the ActiveAir filter, note that you will have to buy those separately.The filters it comes with are the standard thin cloth-like ones.
