I will only buy this brand blue sponge from now on. I have the original more expensive “blue sponges” and these are no different. I had no problems whatsoever. I had no streaking at all using Gator Hide. It was nice having so many when I wanted to take a break. I could just wash the one I was working with and when I was ready to start back up just grab another one. It comes with a nice mesh bag to keep them all in too!!!

First time using polyurethane and this sponge is amazing!! Most of my table is pretty smooth, there are a few streaks but I’m 100% positive that’s because of me still learning and working in a badly lit area with no room to move. But for a first timer I’d say I did a pretty good job with the help of this sponge. Easy to clean, simple to use, and seems durable. No pieces of the sponge was left behind and the job was quickly done. I would highly recommend!

Takes some practice to use. Absorbs quite a bit of sealer b/4 it will apply on the surface evenly

They do a nice job of applying poly once you get the hang of how much product to load. Good quality.

Replaced those foam brushes. Used this to put clear coat on and no marks. Easy to clean. Will use often for chalk painting and stain application
