While this tastes better than some of the other protein supplement drinks, don't be fooled into thinking it actually tastes good compared to real food like I did. This isn't a knock on the isopure products, the initial flavour of this drink isn't bad but the after-taste is not good at all and I think that is true with any of these clear protein products.If you want a protein source that is low cost and very high quality I would try raw eggs in a shake with fresh fruit or real chocolate... now that tastes good and is healthy! I know some people freak out about food poisoning but the rate of contaminated eggs in the US food supply is about one in 20,000. [...] You have a better chance of getting food poising from eating out and ordering a salad.

So I ordered this after having weight loss surgery when I got sick of protein shakes. At this point in my life I've had a TON of protein drinks and shakes so I'd considered myself pretty experienced on products in this market. This is quite possibly one of the worst I've ever had. First off, it has a very strange texture for a "drink." It leaves a film on the inside of your mouth and while being palatable, it does not taste good. I find it easier to drink if I mix it with water or grape flavored sports drinks. It has a ton of calories for the size, 190 in an 8 oz bottle and only 15g of protein. If I had noticed that before ordering, I would not have chosen to get this. (which is my bad for not seeking that information before ordering!) The drink mixes available on the bariatric food source website cost less, have fewer calories, and taste better while maintaining 15 gr of protein. I will finish these off, because I have them on hand, but I cannot endorse them. I would recommend trying something else.

I don't mind the taste but if you're trying to find a high protein, low carb drink, this isn't it. I believe there are 0 carb versions of this, so make sure you get that if that's what you're looking for.

BEWARE!!!! This is NOT the zero-carb version......The color of this package is green, the zero carb version is purple....yes, I ordered the wrong type as the TITLE is the same (isopure plus) but the carbohydrate content is vastly different (0 compared to 33 gms, 60 cals vs 190 cals!). I think the drink itself (the ZERO carb version) is a great source of quick protein, best served cold, but a fast way to get 15 gm of protein in, and curb the hunger cravings...

Digestible Protein. no side effects. Ordered 12 6 packs. Arrived in 1 big box, weight 53 pounds. Too heavy to lift or slide along sidewalk. Opened 0n the spot, found 3 boxes inside. I am ill senior. Shipped by Fed Ex.

not that great

I bought these thinking they were Isopure protein drinks, but they are the "Nutritional Drink" which are about half protein and half sugar. They're great for after a workout, but they're just not what I expected.

Received this product following chemo infusion. Taste is off somewhat but 10 grams of protein in liquid necessary for chemo recovery.
