Cutting boards are just what I wanted. Only thing not expected was the unfinished bark edge on one of the boards. A design feature, I'm sure, that I can live with.

I really like the fact that these boards are thin, which makes them lightweight! They are small--not for large chopping jobs. Beautiful wood.

These are on the small side. Reading the dimensions, I expected them to be larger. While they aren't as different from the published dimensions as it seemed, they are a bit smaller than advertized. The images shown also make it look like these are live edge boards, but they are NOT. The edges are heavily sanded and cleaned up. All in all, smaller than what I expected, definately not worth the price tag since they are also less natural than photos led me to believe. I have not tried to use them yet because I haven't decided if I will be returning them or not.

I recently received this set of two different sized boards, and have to say that I am very impressed. They are both beautiful pieces of wood. Much prettier than the old wooden boards that I have used for years, (one of them being one that I made myself back in 7th grade shop class).Yes, they are very unique, and one of a kind. I love the "rustic" look about them.They really do enhance a wine and cheese display.I will most likely get one of the other sizes to go along with this set. And will also most likely buy another set or two to give as Christmas gifts.

These cutting boards are very unique looking thanks to the olive wood they are made of. They have a rustic yet refined look to them, are very sturdy and versatile, meaning you can use them for both food preparation and presentation. I like that I can have people over for dinner and finish up cutting veggies or herbs in front of my guests and have them experience that old Italian farmhouse feel thanks to these magnificent boards. I really like the boards. They are very smoothed and strong. The only thing I wish that they were larger. You can cut one apple in the smaller size and make like 2 sandwiches in the larger one. Its a good buy for those reasons. Don't expect to cut your meat it won't fit.

I really wanted to love these cutting boards but after only 2 1/2 weeks the side of the large cutting board started to come apart. I don't understand how this could have happened because I certainly wasnt doing any heavy duty chopping, I never dropped it, and I even made a point to immediately handwash and air dry this product.They are beautiful, but I really don't see these lasting very long.

So I just got these but they are AMAZING. I have always gotten cutting boards I have been unhappy with, bamboo mostly, and wanted to try something new. These are beautiful, rustic, and perfectly sized. I would need something bigger to cut big portions, but this is great for my needs. They even smell like olives!! So amazing - don't hesitate and order some!

Very beautiful and rather nice sizes. The Quality is actually better than expected, as both boards are beautiful and smooth, even the holes are done very well. I do find these holes quite practical for hanging the boards up to dry. As glued together wooden cutting boards tend to split in my experience nowadays, I was looking for boards made from one solid piece of wood. These fulfill that requirement perfectly. I wanted something natural, not lacquered or treated with smelly mineral oil. Again, these boards deliver. They give off are rather pleasant smell of fresh olives. One minor gripe: the bigger board only lies flat on one side, laid on the other side it wobbles. But maybe, that is not really such a bad thing. Because I will only use one side for cutting and can keep the other in pristine condition to show the stunningly beautiful olive wood.

Tiny. Unsanded, course wood that warps. Look elsewhere. Ok for chopping garlic, but not much else.

schöne Bretter aber schon nach kurzer Zeit platzten am Rand Stellen auf und mußten nachgeschliffen/nachbehandelt werden - trotz Pflege mit Öl und sorgfältiger Behandlung. Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich zufrieden aber bei dem Preis hätte ich mir eine bessere Qualität erwartet. Nochmal kaufen würde ich sie nicht.
