Worked well for my skin
I'm reviewing the Dermacia PRO Vitamin C Serum. This serum goes on smoothly and absorbs moderately quickly and leaves skin feeling slightly tacky. The benefits are brightening, moisturizing and a reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. The serum does moisturize and reduce those fine lines temporarily. I use this as part of a daily beauty regimen.Overall, I had no adverse reactions to this product and it does well with my skin.

Dermacia PRO Vitamin C Serum
This is probably one of the gentlest serums I've ever used. It is scent free and is instantly absorbed by my skin - in seconds. There is no sticky residue or lingering scent. My skin doesn't react negatively at all. No irritation, redness, stinging or itchiness. I've been using this twice a day, morning and night, after cleansing, for the past three days and so far I've seen only positive results. This Vitamin C serum gently softens my skin and preps it for my moisturizer.

Over-tightening on my dry skin and ingredients are of concern to me...
At first I thought this was a nice face serum, but the first time I used it I felt my skin instantly tighten up and feel dried out. I went running for some face oil because it was a pretty intense feeling. I have dry skin and this product made it feel very dry that I went running for the face moisturizer. After looking at the ingredients I understand why. One of the main ingredients is PROPANEDIOL which not only can provide some irritation to sensitive skin (like my dry skin), but it can also be an endocrine disrupter (also a concern for me because I am a breast cancer survivor). The other main ingredient is SODIUM HYDROXIDE, which is like a lye caustic soda - ugh!!!!I wanted to love this product especially because of it’s high content of vitamin C and that it is made in USA, but because of the main ingredients and the over-tightening feeling, I can not recommend this product. It’s pretty expensive at $30 and the packaging is nice, but not good for dry aging skin like mine. It might be good for people with oily skin and that’s the only reason I gave it a 2-star not a 1-star rating.

Hydrating serum goes on smooth absorbs well
I like this Dermacia Pro vitamin C serum! I like the way it feels on and I assume it's doing its job (I haven't been using it long-term enough yet to see definite results). There's no scent and it goes on smooth. It doesn't make my face sweat (some products do for ungodly reasons unknown) and it feels light. For these reasons this is one of the few serums I can use in the morning. Most I have to wear at night only. I also feel this absorbs better than some serums I've used. Maybe it's just me, I don't know, but my skin can be finnicky. This serum checked all the boxes for me. I'm struggling to read the bottle. It says use morning and evening but I can't make out anything else. They definitely should've used a darker ink on the label! All things considered, this is a hydrating serum that I'm sure others will like just as much as I do.

Really nice Vitamin C face serum
I have become a serum convert this year, and especially Vitamin C serums in the morning. I've tried a number of them, and some tend to absorb slowly and leave my face feeling stick for a long time after application. This absorbs almost immediately and feels great, leaves my skin not-sticky and super soft. I'm looking for long-term results to include lightening up a couple of the age spots that are starting to develop, hopefully those will be faded by this serum.

Improvement after 2 weeks
This stuff works great!! It’s liquid and for some reason I was expecting it to be creamy, but that just makes it easier to apply. I have been using this every night for 2 weeks and I am already seeing a huge improvement in my skin texture and color. My skin is smoother and softer and looks a lot more even. I have a newborn so I don’t have time for foundation most days, and this makes me feel a little more comfortable in my own skin :)

Seems fine, but why the pump?
I’m giving this 4 stars because it’s scent free - an essential with any kind of serum - and because it leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished without leaving behind any sticky residue. It’s hard to judge skincare treatments like this without long term use and medical trials, so I default to 5 stars for things that *feel* as if they’re working. Sue me.I’m marking it down a star because the delivery system makes no sense to me. This serum is extremely thin and watery and yet it’s delivered by a regular pump, as you’d find with a cream-based moisturiser. Why? I’m currently testing vitamin C serums from both Go May and MD Complete, and both deliver it via a wide mouthed dropper. That seems the method that offers the best control over how much you dispense, and I can’t figure out why Dermacia would go for a pump.I’ll keep using this, and if it really wows me after a couple of weeks I’ll hand back the missing star, but I’d really prefer the eye dropper to become standard for serums of this viscosity. Makes sense, no?
