ChiaoGoo SS Red Lace Circular, 32-Inch (80 cm), US 5 (3.75 mm)

I purchased these needles for magic loop knitting. Straight out of the packaging, the cord was thin, flexible, and strong. No need to straighten any kinks out, the cord immediately laid flat and has been a pleasure to work with. When threading the cord through stitches and manipulating it across rows, it glides smoothly and has an invisibly join at the needle that allows my working row of stitches to zip past. No snags at all! The cord resists bending, but is thin enough to allow for proper magic loop contortions. The needles themselves are warm to the touch and smooth. The points aren’t as sharp as my Hiya Hiya’s, but I haven’t had problems with picking up sock yarn stitches or accidentally splitting the working yarn. I am a loose knitter, so I purchased US0’s; the needles, while thin, are strong and haven’t bent or warped despite carrying a row of stitches. I often have a problem of my metal DPN’s bending, but not these! Quality circulars and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again!

Absolutely best knitting needle I have ever used. All of my needles have blunt tip - this Company has a pointed tip, making picking up stitches SO MUCH easier. Wish I had bought sooner. Stainless steel tip is good quality. Will only purchase ChiaoGoo needles from now on,

I really like knitting with ChiaoGoo needles. They are well made and very smooth. I have many sets. If you are a new knitter you may have a little trouble with how slippery they are but once you get your tension and rhythm right you will love these. If slippery needles don’t work for you get bamboo as they are nicely smooth but not as slippery

Nice fine points (very important to me), reasonably pliable cord. And a decent price. Since we can no longer get Signature needles, this is the next best choice.

These are very high quality circular needles. The cord is thin, flexible and has a smooth transition from needle to cord. I also like that the point of the needles are more pronounced than my other needles. They are also labeled with the needle size. I will be buying this brand again each time I need another size.

These needles are wonderful. I keep hearing people talk about them so I figured I’d try them out. They are worth the hype! Nice pointed tips are not only great for lace but also for preventing splitting stitches in unruly yarn

I used to think I only liked wooden knitting needles, because the metal needles I used decades ago had an unpleasant metallic click and didn't slide as easily as wooden needles. When I discovered these stainless steel needles sort of by accident (because the store was out of the bamboo in the size I wanted), I resigned myself to giving them a try. Wow am I glad I did! These are not only smoother than the old aluminum (?) type needles, but they glide even better than Clover bamboo needles and KnitPicks wooden needles. These are my go-tos now whenever I need to buy new ones. The cable is also super flexible. I highly recommend them!

I'll admit, I was hesitant--I've been burned by cheap Chinese items on Amazon too often--but I needed this now, because the one I was using broke and I had socks on it and I couldn't find a 32" 0 anywhere in town. This is a very good needle. The lace points are sharp but not piercing--haven't split the yarn once in hours of knitting. The cable is very flexible, perfect for Magic Loop. It's also very small diameter. Had to move my work from two smaller circulars to this one and it was a breeze. And the join is smooth and never catches. Considering that the price is extremely reasonable, I'm going to be replacing some of my stiffer circulars with these in the near future. You can't go wrong with these needles.

Very solidly built, no catches at joins. Will have these great needles for years to come.

Few other products on market compare to quality of these needles. Use them once, there’ll be no other. (Experienced knitter)
