Sanus VMA202-B1 Center Channel Speaker Mount Grey

Sanus makes excellent mounts, actually purchased and used the XF228-B1. However, the description for this mount implied that it could be used as a sound bar or center speaker mount. We found it could not be used with our center speaker because, the speaker had no mounting holes and could not drill any holes into the speaker. To be fair, because I ordered the sound system and this mount at the same time, I did not know the speaker would not be compatible with this mounting system.Returned product easily and credit was applied to charge card quickly by Amazon. Recommended that Sanus add a clearer description for consumers to better determine types of speakers that would be compatible with this mount.Based on the quality of the the XF228, I'm sure this mount would work well with it. Only gave 4 stars because the description was a bit ambiguous. Wish it had worked with our speaker. Subsequently, bought a LapWorks big screen TV swivel for the center speaker and it works well under the HDTV.

When I bought this, I did not notice that this bracket is for a soundbar and not a center speaker for a 5.1 sound system. Yes, I know it says that in the item's description, but I did not realize that the horizontal bracket is 29" long and has extensions, if needed, to go bigger. For my smaller center speaker, I did not even use the horizontal bracket, much less the extensions. I used the smaller bracket, the one that bolts the horizontal bracket to the vertical bracket, and screwed that to the back of my speaker.One wonders why I did not just send the whole things back, and the reason is that the vertical bracket and it's mount to the back of  Sanus Systems XF228-B1 42-Inch to 75-Inch HD Pro Full-Motion Flat Panel Mount  is what I needed.Finally, I'll add that there is a tremendous amount of fasteners left over. They are good quality, so if you want to boost your stockpile, this will help.

This item was not compatible with my Sanus Simplicity TV mount. By drilling out two holes in the TV mount I got it installed. There are a lot of parts to accommodate a range of Sanus mounts unfortunately some of the parts are not identified in the instructions. Since the parts or prepackaged it may be that this is a standard hardware set and some of the parts may not apply to this application.

I researched and purchased this bracket for mounting a Yamaha ATS-1030 sound bar under a Samsung flatscreen TV. Due to the different manufacturers, individual proprietary bolt holes on the rear of the TV and sound bar did not line up well enough for it to work. This Sanus Speaker Mount turned out to be a great product that was well made, similar to all other Sanus mounting brackets. Unfortunately I had to return this, due to the incompatibility with the odd combination of products I tried to match together, which therefore does not subtract any stars from the great quality of the product. Note that I have four (4x) different Sanus TV mounting brackets, and this fifth - an add-on - simply didn't fit my specific need. So, upon further research, I found the solution in the Sanus SAVMCC1B VMCC1S Center Speaker Mount which fitted the existing Sanus TV swivel bracket. That one was unfortunately no longer available from Amazon, and so I briefly had to divert to B&H. It appears that when you search, Sanus has options for almost all combinations, but it may take some time finding the right combination.

I found it cheaper elsewhere soon after I bought. Claimed it fit most soundbars. Didn't fit my samsung sound bar. I had to attach the sound bar to a piece of wood which I painted black. I was then able to mount the soundbar to the tv. I looked around at sears and from what I saw there this mount wouldn't work for most of these either. Buyer beware.

Attached at bottom of Sanus LF228 wall mount for my Dayton BS36 LCR speaker bar (both reviewed separately). Works perfectly. Only issue is that attaching the three sets of speaker wires is awkward, because the mounting bar obstructs the speaker wire posts, but that is a one-time installation inconvenience, and may not be an issue for other speakers. One thing to keep in mind is that the fairly weighty LCR speaker has all of its weight on the center bracket (the vertical one in the picture), so bumping or leaning on the speakers puts a lot of stress on the center bracket, and I imagine you could torque it off with a severe bump or tug. Solution -- don't let that happen! (should be okay unless you have kids or dogs that are particularly destructive). I've had no issues during normal moving of mounted TV, or occasional brushing against the speaker while walking near the TV.

The mount is too short for the Sonos play bar. But, I mounted the SONOS low profile wall mount (http://www.amazon.com/SONOS-Low-Profile-Mount-PLAYBAR-Soundbar/dp/B00B5N7EKK) on to this SANUS mount and then attached the Sonos playbar to the Sonos mount. This Sanus mount by itself will NOT work for Sonos Playbar, unless you drill new holes, which I was not willing to do. The final result was clean.

Soundbarhalterung gestern angekommen in für amazon untypisch riesiger Verpackung + deshalb sehr viel Papier als Füllmaterial.Danach gleich ausgepackt und alle Teile ausgebreitet.Als TV-Wandhalterung habe ich Sanus VMF220 + den Soundbar Panasonic SC-HTB20.Gebrauchsanweisung ist in DIN A4 Format, ca 40 Seiten und in sehr vielen Sprachen, d.h. die Halterung wird weltweit vertrieben. Beim ersten Durchblättern dachte ich noch, daß der Zusammenbau sehr kompliziert wird, noch dazu wenn man die vielen Teile sieht, die ich dann gar nicht gebraucht habe. Die VMA202 ist kompatibel zu den anderen Sanus-SystemenLF228, XF228, VXF 220, VLF220, VLF210, VLMF109 + noch mehr?!In der Bedienungsanleitung sind mehrere Montagemöglichkeiten angegeben. Durch meinen kleinen Soundbarren habe ich meine Montage ein bißchen umdisponiert, sodaß dieser gleich unter meinem TV befestigt ist und optisch nicht zu mickrig wirkt, da die Soundbarhalterung eher für größere Geräte ausgelegt ist. Will ich später mal größeren Soundbar, ist es kein Problem, da ich die Teile zur Verbreiterung habe.Die Grund- und Aufhängeplatte, sowie die zur Verbreiterung - wenn benötigt - 2 Platten sind aus schwerem soliden Eisen, genauso wie alle Schrauben, die aus sehr solidem Material bestehen. Überhaupt ist die Qualität der Sanus-Systeme tiptop + eine klare Kaufempfehlung.Nur der Preis ist schon sehr happig, wenn man bedenkt - wie bei mir - daß ich weit über 2/3 an Schrauben gar nicht benötigte.Preis-Leistung = schlecht. Verarbeitung + Material = saugut.Sparfüchse werden evtl. im Baumarkt fündig (habe selber geschaut + nur Halbgares gefunden)

Ich habe die Soundbarhalterung VMA 202 zu meiner PLASMA TV.Halterung "VLF 220" von SANUS SYSTEMS geholt.1. Beide sind aufeinander perfekt abgestimmt;2. Mit anliegender Beschreibung leicht zusammenbaubar und Montage klappt ebenfalls sehr gut; man sollte aber eine 2.Hand dazu nehmen; hilft enorm!3. Die "VMA202" trägt meine Yamaha YSP-5100; montieren mit den vorgegebenen Halterungen einfach und gut!Bin mit der Soundbarhalterung "VMA 202" von Sanus Systems sehr zufrieden, auch wenn der Preis etwas hoch ist;Qualität hat eben seinen Preis!!!
