Balance Bar, Healthy Protein Snacks, Chocolate Mint Cookie Crunch, 1.76 oz, 6 Count (Pack of 1)

I have used Balance bars for several years as "emergency nutrition" when I h have forgotten to eat or eat timely, and this flavor is my favorite. Over the years the bars may have gotten smaller, but no less effective and appropriate. I like the taste. I like the texture. Nothing gets stuck in my teeth. They are easy to keep handy. They maintain freshness a long time. They are also very good in true emergency rations.

i was first introduced to these bars in 2005 when my husband and i started snow-shoeing in washington state. fast forward a number of years and three babies later and i started working out (one-hour Zumba classes). i was struggling to make it through each (high energy) class so about an hour before class, i would eat one of these bars (or most of one). i had plenty of energy to make it through class while working hard. i felt like i got a great work out each time AND i was still able to tone up and lose some weight. i love the yogurt honey peanut flavor. it's not sickeningly sweet but it also doesn't taste bland or like saw dust. my kids (ages 2-5) LOVE these (they usually get little pieces of mine as i'm eating one before my class)!

The Balance Peanut Butter Bar is to me the best tasting bar ever. I tried others trying to get extra protein in my snacks and this is the one for me. I usually have 1/4 or 1/2 for a pick me up in late afternoon and it really satisfies me. As in most bars the calories are high if you are trying to lose weight but the fact that you can have smaller portions works for me. It is a quick pick me up and holds me to dinner. It really is yummy. I buy singles, 6 pack as well as the larger box of 15 so I have it on hand.

Damn, these bars are addictive. I have to say, I've tried a crazy number of different brands of bars, and I think I've finally found something that works, tastes good, and is reasonably priced. The proposition of this brand is balanced nutrition. There may be something to this. I do feel like, from my experience, that the really protein-heavy bars are not so great for the system.

As a vegetarian and someone who recently started working out, I felt like I needed some protein bars to eat for breakfast, or while on the go. These taste as I expected, not super awesomely tasty but decent. Fairly good peanut butter flavor and I like that they are quite chewy.The mint cookie crunch ones are definitely my favorite though. It is like eating a semi healthy thin mint cookie. They are delightful

Ever since a friend of mine gave me one of these bars I've been hooked! They are soft and chewy and super delicious! If you can find them as a add in deal on Amazon they are totally worth it. I have since been seeing them at a stater bros for about a 1$ a bar which is cheaper than buying the box of 6 on Amazon, unless you find the add on deal then it's a better deal. They are nutritious and has helped me curb my appetite and feel fulfilled. Peanut butter and cookie dough are the two top flavors of choice for me.

The flavor is amazing they taste like girl scout thin mints. They are also less than 1 dollar a bar and you can't beat that price. Most bars are like 1.50 a piece. Only ones I will buy from now on.

My supermarket just stopped carrying these. They have half an aisle shelf devoted to nutrition bars, and not one can replace them. They taste like food (rather than cardboard), and unlike most 'nutrition' bars, they have more protein than fat, no insoluble fibre, and loads of vitamins and minerals. At this rate, I'm going to be doing all my shopping at Amazon - my supermarket has loads of gluten-free, 'natural' (ie 'high fat') crap, and keeps discontinuing the items that are actually healthy.
