Originally phone case was missing from packaging (not sure if that was because of company, amazon, or the shipper). Once alerted, amazon had another sent to me. Once I got it - love it! Looks great, nice to have that extra light. The value in this as opposed to some of the other cheaper brands is the dimmer feature - it goes from very bright and you can dim it down to very soft light. People stated they have problems getting the phone in. I figured out if you angle down the part where you speak into and then press down at the top where you listen to, it goes in fairly easily (though you will have to press in with some pressure). Removing it isn't as difficult either if you tuck your fingers behind the top of the phone and pull up on that part and then slide up and out from there. My one concern is that since it is all plastic, it can slide right out of your hand. So as long as you're aware of that, you can be more careful with it or just stick on something to the back of the case that gives a little more grip to it.

Expensive for a lighted phone case that does not protect the phone from damage. The lights are nice, they effectively distribute light to take clear and bright photos at night. I've also purchased the small square light that plugs into the charger hole and although it wasn't as effective, still provided a similar effect for much less and allowed me to also use my phone case.For this price, I wish it accomplished both of what I wanted--a durable case to protect my iPhone AND well distributed light to take nice photos in the dark. Honestly, the times i would want to use it are the same times my phone probably needs extra protection from damage.

This is a nice case. I love the dimming feature and it works pretty well. There are sometimes lines in the photo from the different lights. The only thing I don't like about this case is that it's really hard to put on and take off of my 5s. It said to do it gently but I kind of slowly have to force it. I'm afraid it'll either break the case or my phone. I probably won't use this case much just because of the fact that it's so hard to put on and take off but the lighting feature is nice. It also looks kind of cheap so I think I just expected a little more for the price but overall I like it. I got the gold one.

Ok! I bought this item for my little cousin as a Christmas present and she is just amazed! She loved it and she can't stop taking selfies! It fit very well on her phone and I actually bought one for me! I would recommend it to anyone... PS: is a bit difficult to take out any Lumee case (Mine is for an iPhone 6) and they are both a bit difficult. If you want to use it be sure to want to use it for a while so you just not have to bother trying to take it out always.... What I learn to take out is to push it from behind from the camera hole, for me it does the trick... Anyways I have drop my phone several times and my screen hasn't been damaged

The product does what it's supposed to. Creates good lighting in dark environment but I honestly regret purchasing. Already pretty pricey for a phone case, B it this case offers absolutely NO protection for your phone. My phone fell (maybe less an a foot drop) and my entire phone cracked. Everyone drops their phones but with this case, expect your phone to be totaled. The case is thick but it's HARD therefore having greater impact once it hits anything. Had to replace my phone after the first use with this case. I would return but I no longer have original packaging. Save yourself over $200 and just don't fall into the "hype".

I was not impressed with the Lumee iPhone Illuminated Cellphone Case at all! I used this thing for about one week before the gold coat started rubbing off of multiple areas of the case and after only a couple more weeks it looked like it had been to war and back... the gold color was completely faded and dingy. For this being such an outrageously priced case I would think that the quality would be MUCH better :(

I love this case so much. The lighting is great and lasts a long time. The only bad side is that I got the case in white and my case quickly turned color. The case is durable and has saved my phone several times. The case itself does break off easily though. (Pieces have broken off the corners) It's a good idea but there's definitely some flaws

Light fades almost instantly. Have only used it a handful of times and charged it over and over and the light is so dull you can barely make out anything, unlike when I first got it, it was great. Going to try and work with their customer service but at this moment, I would not recommend this at all considering the price and that it did not last long.

Great battery life and quality!

The case is great however you might not be able to attach some headphone plug ins or audio cords into the audio slot if they are too big.
