PIAA 17202 White 25W H8/H9/H11/H16 Performance LED Bulb (6000K, 3700 Lm, Twin Pack)

Initially loved the look, performance and ease of installation of the bulb, however after 2 months of use, one side of the led bulbs have appeared to burn out, waiting on response from PIAA on how they will resolve my issue. Will follow up on review .

These PIAA Performance LEDs are PHENOMENAL!!! The absolute best lighting / “bulbs” money I’ve ever invested (and that is saying a lot as I’ve had 33 vehicles in my young 48 years with bulb replacements and added auxiliary light kits on almost every vehicle). ;-)The best “stock” headlights I’ve ever had (by a long shot) are the Quad LED Projectors that are in my current 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid (HAH) Touring model. Again, these are NOT the ‘Jewel’ LEDs, like Acura has on newer models and/or the 2017 HAH Touring or 2016 Civic Touring models.Anyway, the only halogen bulbs that were on my ’15 HAH Touring, was the High Beam 9005/HB3 which I’d originally replaced with some PIAA Extreme White #19615 (which PIAA bulbs have always been much better than stock…and for me, an automatic replacement whenever I bought a vehicle).Well, now that I’ve added the PIAA Performance LEDs Part #17201 to replace those only halogens left…they are simply AMAZING on High Beam, too…UNBELIEVABLY a 1,000% better again when on High Beam. They are just GREAT…a person will NOT be disappointed!

So now, I’m going to show my age a lil’ ;-) …before these new PIAA LEDs…the very best after market lighting that I’d ever added to a vehicle was the Original PIAA Pro 90’s w/120W Driving Lights & 85W Fog Projector Lamps (on our ’97 Dodge Cummins Extra Cab). And I have to admit that these new LED’s when in High Beam on our HAH Touring (and Low Beam Projectors on my wife’s Ridgeline mentioned below) are very similar to what I remember getting out of the ole PIAA Pro 90’s (VERY IMPRESSIVE).

Sooooo, I just added two (2) sets of PIAA LED’s to my wife’s New 2017 Honda Ridgeline RT-S, stock Low Beam Projectors and the stock Fog Lights.I just cannot say enough about these PIAA Performance LEDs, both the 17201 on the HAH Touring, and the two (2) sets of 17202s on the Ridgeline. Again, these have made the Ridgeline’s lighting AMAZING…I am dead serious…the difference in Honda’s Low Beam Projectors with “yellowy” stock H11’s and the stock Fog Lights w/H8’s compared with these PIAA LED’s is like NIGHT and DAY…there really is no comparison (and nobody is flashing me with either the Accord or Ridgeline, but I am very conscious about lowering my High Beams, too…otherwise someone would be saying, “Cheese”). :-)The only thing that could make these PIAA LED’s any better…would be if PIAA could somehow make them still work in low voltage scenarios (like Daytime Running Lights DLR)…as my wife’s Ridgeline is NOT the top of the line version w/LED DLR (her Ridgeline uses the High Beam at lower voltage for DLR’s…so I put the PIAA Extreme White 9005/HB3 #19615 that I’d just taken out of my HAH Touring into the Ridgeline…so, the Ridgeline is not as spectacular on High Beams…BUT AGAIN, a MASSIVE improvement with the PIAA LEDs in the Projectors and Fogs, MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT!!! :-)A person simply gets what you pay for…again, these are worth every penny!!! :-)

I like having the 'white' headlight beam....but I'm on the fence about just how much brighter they are than the stock halogens. I didn't do a full blown comparison..because I just don't care that much. I can still see down the road just fine...and now I have cooler looking lights...and that's good enough for me. I will say that the light spread/throw/reach whatever the word word is...is definitely NOT as bright as stock LED lights on the newer cars today. Oh well..I still like them--I don't regret this purchase at all.I will add that the cooling fans are LOUD, I can definitely hear them from inside the cabin. May be just how my car's engine bay is set up (15 Mazda 6) which allows the vibration of the unit (as the fans are spinning) to reverberate all the way up into the cabin...but I can hear it over normal conversation/radio on low volume...even at highway speeds. Doesn't bother me at all...but it might irritate others enough to not get them. So just wanted to point that out.

Purchased two sets to replace original headlight and fog bulbs on a 2017 Honda Pilot. At the time of this review only the headlight bulbs are installed. Installation took about 25mins because I had to remove some parts for better access to the left bulb, the rest of the installation was straight forward. These bulbs exceeded my expectations, the light output is bright and the color is white. The only negative I saw was some yellow at the bottom of the beam, but that could be caused by the glass. I will update once I install the fog lights.update 4-24-2017:The Light output is excellent but the fans that cool the bulbs are noticeably loud.

These bulbs have an awesome color and look great. That's it. They do not put out good light at all. My stock halogens (16 fusion) are superior to these. The fan is very loud, which is not a problem for me, but the lack of light output for the money is horrific. I would not recommend this product to anyone. If you want the cool look you can get it for much less money.

I have purchased 2 pairs of these for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. These fit both the low beam and fog light application in H11 size. They are much brighter than stock halogen but not as bright as HID's can be. Up close they look super white in color but driving with them on seems to have a blueish color on the road. Not sure how they look at a distance as of yet. Install was simple plug and play the only hiccup is finding where to mount the ballast they come with. The ballast is small maybe 3in x 3in and seems to be of good construction. I am hoping these will last for several thousand of hours but only time will tell. Overall I am pleased with this purchase.

HiI bougth these led bulbs on July 2016, but one of them burned out a month ago .I rise the warranty claim form in the PIAA Web Page a few weeks ago , but up to now I haven received any replySupposedly this one should have lasted 30,000 hours, and only work less than 2,000 hourIts a pitty taking over the money I paid

These were not bright AT ALL on my 2017 CRV. Two star rating because of the build quality. They had an excellent throw but if only they were about 3 times brighter, they would have been the ones.

Easy to install, just plug and play. Matches to Original Equipment (O.E.) plugs. Provided more than enough zip ties but i didn't use any because my headlight housing are big enough to stuff the converter and wires inside.Installed in a 2013 Subaru STI. Looking great! 6000k is even whiter than any other cars with new projector technology.Would recommend to all users with projector housing but O.E. is halogen bulb. No adjustment to headlight line required, as long as the top of the beam is same as your O.E. specifications.Not a sponsored review. Bought my set for amazon price $344+tax.
