Someone Who Took The Time To Find The Answers
Hello Robert,It took me some time to get through your book and I finally finished it yesterday.I just wanted to let you know being a prior Chief of Safety as a Weapons Safety Officer at Hill AFB/Dugway/UTTR/Michael Air Field and Chief of Safety at Nellis AFB/NTTR/Tonopah along with being designated by the Base Commander as the Nuclear Safety Officer when the Nuke Inspection failed (2003-2005), drew my interest to the book let alone your book being the go to book in Ufology. After retirement from 30 years military and Civil Service I signed up with MUFON in Utah and within months became the MUFON Utah Asst. Director with two worldwide cases behind me as Lead Investigator, research with Dr. Richard F. Haines, in contact steadily with Eric Lukes, Erling Strand, Scott Browne, Chris O’Brien, David Marler, Alison Kruse and the like.I just wanted you to know that my research on anomalies is continuing and that your book brought a lot to light! It was very enjoyable and I never got bored or fell asleep… LOL.When you mentioned PRP it always brought back memories of the troops underneath this and how locked up they were in conversing anything out of the ordinary.I wrote a book called Anomalogy… in E-kindle (written in three days…sad book in my opinion) and now I’ve now I’m doing a revision on that book which is now with the Copy Editor called “The Fall of Ufology: Charlatans’ Deception With Thin Places”. I’ve also written a TV Series Script that is being looked at by Producers/Executives called “Anomaly News”. But most of all, I’m a nobody in the field and I prefer it that way after what I have seen in a very short period of time.I just wanted to write you and say your words have not been dropped along the Ufology roadside as worthless…just the opposite. Your book was very insightful!I hope all is well, the best to you and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me!Sincerely,Geoffrey (Geoff) B. [email protected]

A book for billionnaires
The book is excellent, but the price is preposterous. In a Utube video, Robert Hastings (I had the good fortune to know him personally, he is a real gentleman) says that he sells his book at a normal price, but Amazon takes a huge benefit on the copies which are ordered through it.I didn't know Robert Hastings sold the book directly, and I regret it.As a jest Hastings said that, with Amazon, his book is only for billionnaires, which obviously I am not. However, it's my first disappointment with Amazon, so...

GREAT BOOK!
Really an interesting book. Kind of scary that UFOs can re-program nuclear missiles. You can tell that the author has done a lot of painstaking research. The book was expensive but is well-written and worth every penny!

A compelling and eye-opening rea.
(This review is by Mike Anderson under his wife's Amazon account)Robert Hastings' investigation of the reported UFO sightings over U.S. (and those of other nations) nuclear weapons facilities is a meticulously researched and thought-provoking effort to answer the answer two key questions regarding UFOs: are they spacecraft from outside our planet and if so, what is their purpose of being here?"UFOs and Nukes" goes a long way towards answering those questions. Hastings has spent several decades interviewing retired military personnel who were, while deployed at SAC bases or other nuclear weapons facilities, witnesses to the seemingly effortless ability of aerial vehicles of unknown origin to penetrate the security perimeters of some of the Air Force, Army and Navy's most closely guarded nuclear air bases, missile fields and weapon storage facilities. The witnesses to these incursions ranged from Security Police who patrolled the sites to missile crewmen and even the deputy base commander of one of the most important U.S. Tactical Air Force bases in western Europe. The accounts of these men, all of whom were carefully screened by the Air Force to operate or protect America's most powerful weapons systems, are astounding. Hastings has compiled a massive collection of reports by responsible, psychologically screened military personnel who had much to lose by even making such reports, which include close encounters with and/or visual observation of, objects that performed impossible maneuvers at speeds that far exceeded the capability of human-made aircraft.Since he began taking reports and using the internet to put the word out about his project, Hastings has been contacted by scores of retired pilots, ICBM crewmen, security policemen and others who were present when UFOs followed their aircraft, hovered over bunkers filled with nuclear weapons and even deactivated an entire flight and a half (16) Minuteman missiles. While the accounts of incursions into secure nuclear weapons facilities are quite enough to ponder, Hastings takes the reader a step further by speculating about the motive of such penetrations. He presents his theory - that intelligent beings from other worlds are sending us a message about the horrible consequences of producing and deploying nuclear and thermonuclear weapons - throughout the book. It is a matter that, even if there are no extraterrestrial visitors - is still of vital import.Unless former Capt. Robert Salas, Lt. Col Charles Halt, Dr. (former Air Force Lt.) Robert Jacobs and all of the others who were witnesses to these incredible events are liars or delusional, aerial vehicles of unknown origin have been, and are now, routinely visiting our nuclear weapons sites and are occasionally demonstrating their seemingly effortless ability to interfere in their operation. As a trained observer (U.S. army field artillery forward observer in the 1970s) and former UFO skeptic who experienced his own sighting of unexplained aerial phenomena in the night skies over central Arizona more than a decade ago, I can only say that there is compelling evidence in this book that aircraft/spacecraft of unknown manufacture and origin are flying in our skies and maneuvering in ways cannot be explained with our technology and scientific knowledge. Robert Hastings' "UFOs and Nukes" makes a strong case for their being of extraterrestrial origin. We can only hope that his theory for their behavior is correct.

Robert Hastings' Profits
Hastings recently addressed our university about his book, & I skeptically admitthe presentation was impressive. However, anyone asking $80 for a 4-yr.old paperbackbook of narrow interest may have ulterior motives. Surely he must want to get the word out,but if neither of our two major state universities carry this book, its clear its not doing its job.Hastings really needs an `intervention' by the UFO community to rattle his cage, & get thisbook republished so that we mortals can afford it.
