HONKID Wrist Rest for Magic Trackpad 2(MJ2R2LL/A, A1535), Black

I dreaded the idea of mousepad, it's one of the reasons I use a trackpad. I was hesitant with my purchase, I didn't want my sleek black glass desk to look cheap, it's donned with expensive Apple products. Nonetheless, I bit the bullet & made the purchase; I'm very happy with it. It relieves the stress on my wrist, is usable with both left & right hands, and blends in nicely with my black Apple Magic trackpad. I use average pressure, I assume, and there hasn't been any indents. It's a sleek and stylish item...if you're like I was, fearful of your desk looking 'cheap' when you've made a large investment in Apple products, fear not. Your wrist will thank you.

Boosting what others have said about the seams breaking and gel leaking out. I have now had three of these (the last one was sent in place of a different designed unit I ordered -- so I gave it one more try). All three failed, and in two different desk setups (one standing, one sitting). The seams are just too weak to withstand the ear and tear of a wrist moving around on top of it, which is what it's designed for. BTW, this happens after only a couple of weeks.

It’s a comfortable and clean wrist rest, but the cutout for the trackpad is a bit big and you can slide it around in it. I wish it was more tight so I couldn’t move the trackpad around as much

I bought this HONKID wrist rest specifically for my Trackpad, and for the first full year of daily use, it was excellent. The gel filling provided great cushioning, the fabric felt smooth and comfortable, and the non-slip base kept it firmly in place on my desk. It really helped reduce wrist fatigue during long work sessions, and I was happy with the purchase. Unfortunately, just like the matching HONKID keyboard wrist rest I own, it started leaking gel after about a year. The seams began to separate, and sticky gel oozed out, getting all over my hands and desk. It created a messy cleanup situation, and now the pad is basically unusable. I've seen similar complaints in other reviews, so it seems like a common durability issue with this brand's gel products under regular daily use. If you're looking for something for light or occasional use, this might hold up fine and be a good value. But for heavy daily users, be prepared for a limited lifespan – I'd recommend looking at alternatives. Switching to a different brand for my replacement.

It just feels natural and right to have this product now. It does its job very well.

Bought this to use with my trackpad since my wrist would be sore after a couple of minutes using it. Ordered this and it solved the problem right away! The wrist padding is squishy but firm so it feels comfortable after hours of resting your wrist on it. Definitely would buy again with no hesitation you won’t regret it

I returned this product. It was not ergonomic at all, the padding was very thin, provided zero support, and the material was coming apart from the padding. Very cheaply made.

I have the wrist rest for the Magic Keyboard 2 and have the same praise for this pad. The cutout for the Trackpad fits the unit perfectly and not only maintains the low profile, it actually reduces the angle of my wrist making fatigue a non-issue. Big Pro is the cutout for the charging cord. Kudos to the designer/engineer. One thing to be observant of is that if you choose the Magic Keyboard 2 and the HONKID Wrist Rest for that device, placing both side by side does create a 25mm gap. I suffer no consequence from it, but it is worth mentioning.
