I am a breeder of long coated show dogs. I do my own dog show grooming and having sharp scissors is a must to trim the coat and feet. When I bought this product I was skeptical because for the price I wasn't sure of the quality I was going to get. I bought this product on July 2016 but it was not until now that I got to use it as I have dog shows at the end of this month and I had to get my show dogs ready. I couldn't believe how fantastic these shears worked for me. They were as sharp as I needed them to be. Having a right hand and left hand curve shear made the task of feet trimming extremely easy. I loved their performance. The shears come in a black storage case which is very elegant and keeps the shears protected. As a comparison, I could buy only one regular shear, medium quality, at a beauty supply store for the price I paid for this set of 4 shears. I couldn't be happier to have purchased this product.

We trim out two Yorkies at home because it is a lot cheaper. I stumbled on these trimming scissors while watching a YouTube video. I never knew there were curved trimming scissors, let alone ones that curve in both directions. This allows you to trim the curve on BOTH sides of the face without having to reposition the dog, bend your hand into a pretzel to get the angle right, or trying to do one side with your left hand. The quality is really good, as is the size for grooming Yorkies. Having a nice storage case is a big plus. The only downside I can see is the holes on the scissors are sort of small. My wife's fingers fit well, but mine are too big to fit in them.

Very Sharp at an excellant price. I have 5 little dogs, Havashu mostly a Mix of Havanese Shih Tzu with some Poodle snuck in. Anyhow these little dogs have hair and do not seem to shed. These little guys would turn into 4-legged cousin It-es with hair grown completely their eys dragging a long coat all hanging all the way to the groud trailing behind them. Anyhow trimming with these is much faster and more accurate than using trimmers. The curved blade makes it so much easier to be safe. I feel confident that I can avoid cuttung their boney legs under even mats of hair, and it is easier to be safe just cutting along th body. I always used trimmer before because I did not trust myself to handle the scissors for an enitire full body haircut before. I may use trimmers again for a buzzcut like during a hot summer, but they are clumsy in comparison.✶✶✶✶ -1✶ for Ouch!!!I would like to totally give these sciccors 5-stars because these sciccors totally do what sciccors are meant to do- they are sharp and easy to guide. The only problem is I have small hands, and my hands get bruised. If may the finger rings were softer like a rubber or foam like pad instead of hard plastic I imagine my hands would fair better. As it is I take breaks right now instead of doing all the dogs in one go. I will trying wrapping my hands next time.For the most part, breeds with long, drop coats are quite susceptible to mats and tangles

Not as sharp as I was hoping. and it turns out I didn't really need the curved scissors, but I've been using the others, so I don't feel right in returning. They are good enough. I thought the zipped holder would be useful, but if you don't put them back in their slots just right, it's really a nuisance closing it. I just found a box now and use that. I guess the holder would be more useful to a traveling groomer.

The case is gorgeous, the scissors work well and fast, cutting through matts with no issue. The scissors are very shard, and the comb is useful as long as your pup stays still (mine doesn't). If you are looking for a present for someone with long haired fur-babies, look no further because this is both beautiful and well presented, it is also very functional.

These are terrible. Out of 4 scissors only 1 is half way sharp. And I mean not “oh they are not super sharp” I mean they are so dull the scissors have never seen a sharpener in their life. This is ridiculous. Do not waste your money on these. I don’t write many reviews but I needed to let everyone know about these and how horrible the quality is. I tried to use them once and they went straight to the trash.

Super sharp and excellent feel while styling our extra fluffy doggy. I got this set from a Lightning Deal as my wife is usually the one trimming (and experimenting) on Niko, our pomeranian. Let's just say his previous cuts are a mixed bag, usually with crazy jaggies (using a straight scissor) and many uneven patches. Lots of effort but kinda sad results.It took only a couple of tries for my wife to really appreciate the curved scissors, and now his styling sessions with mommy are groomer-level amazing. Best of all the scissors are adjustable (for tension). So the only wish for the set is that the straight scissors should have been longer, 7-inch or even longer, but understand that the included 6-inch is much better for more precise work. Otherwise a fantastic set of grooming scissors for pets.

I have been grooming my own Scotties for many years. (That is because they have been banned from every grooming parlor in town!) This is really a great addition to what I have been using on them. The scissors are of a very high quality. The curved ones make it much easier for trimming and detailing. They all come in a very nice zipper case. Great value for the the money! My Scotties and I thank you for a great product!

I am glad I saw these on Amazon. The shears are sharp and seem to be well made. The fact that you can adjust the tension without using a screw driver is a big asset. The thinning shears are 33 tooth and cut with no problem, the in and out curved shears means that you don't have to keep changing hands or direction when doing paws and leg cuts for finish grooming. The comfort and feel of these is very good and the protective case is a big asset. I recommend that you clean and oil the blades before and after use it will make them last longer and keep their edge. The full set is great for groomers and the every day person who wants to groom their own dog.

As a groomer I knees very sharp scissors these don’t cut the steel is very sick I am not comfortable to the hand, would not recommend to buy this scissors
