It does have a weird funky smell when you open it. The best way to go about it is to open the package and allow the masks air out. Then the smell will quickly go away and you’ll be able to use it at ease. When you’re putting on this mask, it can be hard at first to tell which is the front and which is the back. Looking at where the ear loops were glued can help with that.One interesting note is that I’ve noticed that some customers have a different box (blue box) compared to the one advertised and the one I got (black box). I’m not sure if that’s just a minor cosmetic difference or a new product batch. If it’s a new batch it can probably explain the divided opinions in the reviews. The masks aren’t really thick as people say they are, they just feel like a typical mask you can get anywhere. I’ve had disposable 4ply masks with an activated carbon layer and those were pretty thick. Sometimes the masks can get “fuzzy” where the mask fibers kinda tickle and itch your nose. Some masks I’ve worn out gave me that feeling and I wanted to sneeze or fidget my mask to fix it. Others were perfectly fine. The ear loops don’t feel uncomfortable. Others said in previous reviews that the ear loops break easily. Mine haven’t broken yet and I’ve been using these masks for roughly three months.If you like black masks compared to the typical blue ones, I’d get these. It’s a basic mask so don’t expect anything too amazing.

I bought these since my other cloth masks were showing some wear after being washed so many times. I liked these specifically because they were all black and looked kinda thick in the pictures. I was also hesitant though since I didn’t want my face to be suffocated when wearing it. I’m here to confirm, these masks are made out of a thicker material and, they do not suffocate my face when wearing them. Also, since it’s thicker, I can wear it several times before I grab a new one. With other disposable masks, I wear them once and they are basically done. I received these a little over a week ago and I’m only on number 2 that I’ve used. Great quality!! I tried to show the material of the masks in my picture, so hopefully that will help someone decide if these are for them or not. They are definitely for me!

The media could not be loaded.  It’s a shame in are at a time in our lives where the masks are a necessity but since they are I had to go looking for masks that are comfortableI’m an Uber driver and need masks for myself and for my riders that don’t have one .I love the sleek black color of these that makes them more stylish . They are not as big as other disposable masks so they don’t hinder my eyesight when I have them on. They go on easy and stay put. I don’t feel overwhelmed wearing it like I did the other ones. I will definitely buy moreOf these.

It's good for the price but not as comfortable

I have a wide face and they fit great. Comfortable, breathable, and a nice dark black. The only issue I’ve had is the bands breaking. This only seems to happen after I’ve been carelessly taking it on and off all day long. I am more careful down removing it from my left ear and haven’t had the issue since. Tons of compliments too because the black goes with all of my outfits.

These were a good value for the price & the black color does not show my makeup for the day like the light blue disposable masks do.

My daughter has been complaining that the masks I bought are too big. The kids one are too small. This size is just nice for young teenagers and people with a smaller face. Quality wise is good as well.
