First pair broke almost immediately...
but they were quickly replaced and the new ones are holding up well. Guessing the originals had a rough life in transit and got dropped on concrete.

Broke the first time i grabbed a nail
I bought these hoping to replace a smaller crescent nipper. Literally the first nail i tried to pull broke the entire jaw. Seems like the hardening process may have been off. Nail was about 5/32 diameter in a small block of old oak. Very dissapointing. Amazon said contact knipex for warranty, waiting on a reply i suppose.

Best nippers ever had. I had a lot nippers over decades. First I had Klein, for what I do and working in a really harsh Canadian winters, Klein were just bad, bad for cutting and bad in the cold, I would get just stiff, really hard to work with. Then I tried Knipex, winter, not an issue, it just work flawlessly. But I had different sizes and shapes (different models), until I got this one, and this is by far the best 😃

Electricians nippers!
I used these to replace the classic Klein nippers used to install MI heat tracing. These work way better 99% of the time. They are a little bit larger but fit into almost all the same spots and cut through heavy stainless steel tie wire no problem. If you are working with tie wire that is tough to cut and causing wrist/ hand fatigue swap to these bad boys
