Great Mouse Pad, After Modification
I bought a new, ergonomic mouse due to the fact that my wrist was becoming quite sore. Once the new mouse arrived I was very happy with it, but it made my old neoprene mouse pad obsolete. The new mouse would drag and catch on the old mouse pad, due to its texture, so I set it aside and used this new mouse alone on my table top for a while. The base of the mouse began wearing into the tabletop, so it seemed I needed a solution. I puzzled over new mouse pads here on Amazon, and finally decided to pick a metal one. Once I did that, I found a couple of things. First of all, I had thought that I would use the sheer aluminum side of the pad, and for some reason I thought that the leather side of the pad would stick to the table. This was not the case. The base of the mouse scraped and squealed on the surface of the aluminum side, while it glided nicely on the leather side. Unfortunately, this pad would not stay put on my table. It is a rigid sheet of finished metal, and it slid around with the motion of the mouse.I decided it was time for some modification. I was basically happy using my new mouse with the leather side of this mouse pad, but I needed a way to keep the aluminum side from sliding around on my table.I took my old neoprene mouse pad and cut it down so that it was slightly smaller than this new mouse pad. I happen to have some good double stick tape in my collection of crafts stuff, so I laid out some lines of tape on the fabric side of the neoprene mouse pad. Then, I flipped it over and stuck it down to the aluminum side of the new mouse pad. I took some pictures of my work so you can get the idea of what I was doing. The result was 100% satisfaction. The new mouse pad with its neoprene foundation stays put on my table nicely, and works well with my new ergonomic mouse. I imagine other types of adhesive would stick neoprene to the desired side of this mouse pad. Perhaps there are other sheets of fabric that would cause the mouse pad to not slip around the way it does. I was just using materials that I had around the house.I am fully satisfied with the size of this mouse. I ordered the small size and it fits nicely on my desk. It accommodates all motions of my mouse, and I have no need of a larger mouse pad. I am glad that I took measurements before purchasing.I want to emphasize that I was surprised to find that the leather side of this pad was the one that worked best with my mouse. It is not true leather, but a finely textured solid layer that appears to be plastic. I am quite satisfied with the result, but I felt it necessary to knock off a couple stars due to the fact that it needed modification to work right

Refreshing
Coming from the usual foam mouse pad, this pad is a breath of fresh air. Very smooth, no imperfections on either surface. The pad feels solid, its got weight to it.It is NOT a thin, bendable piece of metal. Its a couple millimeters thick and feels well made. A premium product. The edges look sharpened but they are dulled so there's no worry, and the edges make the pad look very smart. Subtle, but it leads to a very clean look. I got the metal grey color, the leather is black. The metal side was a little loud until I applied the INCLUDED sound-dampening stickers. These stickers are really very nice. I am glad there are two sets of four stickers for reducing noise. They work surprisingly well.I've not tried the grippy stickers but they feel like they would do the job well and secure your pad in place. The reverse leather side is firmly attached to the metal, almost built into it. In other words, no risk of it peeling off after a long time. It is not a cushioned leather, its hard but not as hard and cold as the metal side.I noticed minimal cursor drift on the leather side. Could be my mouse. But I didn't buy this pad to use the leather. Though its a nice option. A few edits to the cursor in Windows or 3rd party software might fix it.The metal side works perfectly and is VERY responsive.A favorite feature that I didn't even consider and was pleasantly surprised by - The cold metal is quite refreshing to a warm/hot palm. :+)It comes with a little fact sheet that was very well written and gave a little insight to those behind this mousepad. Thanks JEDIA. Good stuff.

You’re getting what you’re paying for
It’s not the best mousepad I’ve ever used in my life. Was it cheap? Yes. Is it functional? Yes. Is it easy to clean? Yes. There’s not much more you need to worry about. It does make a pretty noticeable sound because it’s made of metal, but that doesn’t really bother me. I primarily use my computer for work or casual gaming, so it’s fine. The reason I give it 5 stars is because of the bang for your buck. Always nice to have affordable options that still get the job done.

Sleek but Not the Most Practical for Long Sessions
Sleek but Not the Most Practical for Long SessionsThis JEDIA aluminum mouse pad definitely stands out from the usual cloth or rubber mats. The silver finish looks modern and polished, and the small 9×7 size is perfect if you’re working with limited desk space. The dual-sided design is also clever—one side smoother for quick movement, the other with a bit more grip for precision. In use, the mouse tracks very smoothly and feels accurate, especially for office or design work where fast response is helpful. It’s also waterproof and easy to wipe clean, so it stays looking sharp without much effort. That said, the hard metal surface has some downsides. After a while, my wrist felt a bit sore since there’s no cushioning like you’d get with a fabric pad. The smaller size can also feel restrictive during gaming or tasks that require big sweeping movements. If you’re someone who needs a larger working area or softer wrist support, this might not be the most comfortable choice.Bottom line: A stylish, compact mouse pad with excellent tracking and easy maintenance, but better suited for short sessions or light office work than extended gaming or all-day use.
