What are the internal and external dimensions?

OD for most of the length is 0.90mm, while close to the cap it increases to ~0.95mm. Cap is about 1.75mm. ID, is a problem, though. Claimed at 0.7mm, my 0.60mm wire does not make it through. 0.40mm does. So as best I can tell, ID is 0.45mm. Length is 2.65mm.

What type of punch is used to flatten them once they are in the board?

These are so tiny I don't bother to flatten them. You must make sure they are clean so solder will flow. They work quite well, this is old school on thru pc board soldering.

How many are in the bag? I see 100 but the bag look like couple hundred

I checked using a microscale -- each one weighs about 12mg, and the total weight was 11.459 g -- so pretty close to 1000
