Fit and worked out good

I bought this for my Honda HR194. Took 10 minutes to install and works great. I couldn't get a Honda OEM carbon rebuild kit for less than $50.I did have to make the holes bigger on the air filter included but other than that it's hard to go wrong buying this.

This carburetor did not work properly on my Honda HR214 lawn mower. The mower idled properly and the drive function that moves the mower worked properly. When I engaged the blade the engine would die. If I engaged the choke and then started the blade and then disengaged the choke, the blade would operate until I disengaged it and then I would have to do the process again if I wanted to engage the blade.After lots to trail and errors, I cleaned and installed the ORIGINAL carburetor and everything worked correctly.The air filter had a wrap around metal top that prevented the filter to fit on the air cleaner. I had to cut the metal top off with my hand grinder to use the filter.But the point is, nothing worked with my HR214 mower.!! Except the spark plug. Can't return it now.This $20 overhaul kit, cost me 20 hours of frustration!

I like the ease of access to change the unit on my older model mower.

Replaced the original carb on a 35 year old Honda mower with this unit. Looked exactly like the one being replaced and the mower fired up on the first pull after installation. No adjustments were needed. Only difference is the gas on/off switch is opposite of the original carb.Haven't used the air filter or spark plug yet but they looked like decent items.

Exactly what it says it is

Bought this kit for a Honda HRA214 SX, the supplied air filter required cutting out the center to get it to fit in the air box. Also this filter does not have a seal on the top and bottom as the one I removed had. Filter does have a seal on the bottom. I was able to remove the rubber seal from the old air filter and position it to seal the top side of the new filter.Carb is working just fine. On/off valve position is opposite direction of the original carb, no big deal but it does now conflict with the factory picture on the mower. Added the inline fuel filter which I did not have previously.

Air filter that was included with order was not the right one. Doesn't fit. Otherwise the product was great.
