Sale Only - Misleading Add
This review is only about the Sale/packaging/marketing1. This SKU did not come with a $5 PC connector Dongle. Oceanics wants an extra $99 for it.2. The online training is a farce. It's an excuse to get you to try to buy more piss poor training from ediving.us. Crap Crap crapThe Dive Computer itself. Looks good, simple but good.I took it in the pool and it's working. Can't wait to try it out in the real world.

They last for about 4-5 years then flood
I have owned two of these computers over the past decade or so. Loved them while they worked, but both eventually leaked. Once they're out of warranty, Oceanic won't do anything for you, so I'll use the most recently deceased for "trade in" credit with another manufacturer.

Worked beautifully; easy to read
Bought two of these. We have not used them much yet (only 7 dives) but so far so good. Easy to use, and easier on the pocketbook than the wireless versions.Only downside is, they're not wireless. So bulkier. But very easy to read--great for newer divers.

Fine dive computer with improved, more flexible hose.
I bought this computer to replace my older model Datamax Pro. It is easy to use and easy to read underwater. The built in compass saves you the trouble of carrying yet one more piece of stray equipment. The hose provided with it is very flexible - more so than my original Datamax Pro 1.0. The product is working fine after many dives and I'd recommend it!

Great computer!
I love this computer. My dive buddies are envious since it's so easy to read and program. The integrated console makes everything super simplified. The air-time-remaining calculations/display has really allowed me to improve my air consumption by telling my how much dive time I'd have left. Highly recommend it for new divers who need to practice that.

Great Computer! Reliable and easy to read!
Great computer! Very easy to read due to the large display and big font point. The control buttons are large and easy to operate underwater. We dive in cold water frequently and this is one of the first computers I’ve owned where the buttons are easy to feel through our thick gloves. There is a mild learning curve to navigating the menus, so before a dive trip I refresh myself by reading parts of the manual again, but in general oceanic has done a decent job making the controls that you need to access on a boat (such as Nitrox percentage) easy to remember. My first one of these I bought second hand, and the previous owner had replaced the battery and showed that it worked in a bucket of water. After the first dive it failed because that owner forgot to restore the O-Ring to the batter compartment. Oceanic replaced the entire unit with a refurbed one for ~$100 which was above and beyond my expectations in customer service given that the failure was not their fault in the least. Since obtaining the replacement computer I’ve logged over 60 dives with this unit in both cold and warm water and I’m thrilled with how dependable it’s been. The usb cable is a must if you want to keep your log book on your computer, and this is the first computer that I’ve owned that is supported by the log book apps that are available on Mac. It works flawlessly with MacDive.Storage on this specific model is lower than the Pro Plus 2.1/3 , so if you’re diving somewhere for a week or more, you’ll want to keep the data polling less frequent or some of your dives may be lost due to the storage device being full. If possible, I recommend downloading your dives to a laptop while on vacation.

Finally. an ALL-IN-ONE dive computer
I chose this computer because I wanted:1.) air integrated (but not hoseless)2.) very easy to read interfaCE3.) very easy to use menus4.) digital water temp5.) back light (that stays on, I have mine set for 7 sec)6.) measures my air consumption rate and gives me usable feedback.7.) integrated compass (I got the one with the compass on top)8.) Nitrox switchable up to 50%9.) downloads to my PC because I use a software logbook (divelog)10.) User field replaceable battery. And this had it all! and then some. The manual is 100pages but they are small large print pages. I read the first 50 in about half an hour which showed me everything I need to know. the later half of the book is application, troubleshooting, battery changing, storage and care etc.it is VERY easy to use. Hold down both buttons and you get Setting Menu 1, if you let go you are in that the Setting 1 menu which has about 4 or 5 things you could set. if you kept holding it down you would have gone on to setting menu 2 which has about 12 or more things to set many of which are not changed often or ever. Some of the settings include (auto turn on when in water, nitrox or air, date, time etc.)There are a TON, almost too many audible alerts you can set. For example: Nitrogen level, Air Time Remaining, PSI low, PSI turn around (ie 1,000 psi turn to go back), max depth, dive time remaining, dive time spent etc.Very simple, easy to read, yet lots of features.I cannot speak to the durability until I have used it for at least a full season. but so far it's been great.
