This is a great little art set for at home or on the go! There are 120 pieces in the kit that all fits into the included carrying case with a handle. There are markers, crayons, pastels, colored pencils, watercolors, scissors, sharpener, ruler, eraser, white paint, brush, paper clips and sponge. This is recommended for ages 3+ but honestly I wouldn't allow any child of mine to have complete access until aged 8+ due to the pastels, scissors, sharpener and paper clips.This is fun to try different mediums and while this set is very reasonable on it's pricing, you do get a lot for what you pay. That also goes into play that this is an excellent starter kit to see what your child likes/dislikes and if pieces get lost or broken it wont be such a burden to replace.My kids have tried out everything in this kit and by far their favorites were the pastels, since they go on so smooth and blend so well with fingers! :)

My 5 year old loves to paint, draw and everything art related so she loved this set!It comes with 120 pieces including markers, crayons, watercolors, accessories and a bunch of other stuff. It is a big nice set but it is also easy to transport when you are going to grandma's house. All the pieces seem to be as good or better quality as other more popular brands. Colors are vibrant!

For what it is, this is a nice set. It's not high quality art supplies by any means, but that's not the goal. It's a great set for experimenting and practicing with a variety of art mediums, perfect for young kids, where the supplies get lost, broken, or otherwise unusable before too long. No reason to invest in an expensive set at those ages. This provides the look and feel, in a handy (though certainly flimsy) case. A huge amount of options with a price that's inviting. It's a fun set to open and help kids get their imaginations started. My  Creative Galaxy Season 1  loving kids are thrilled and don't know the difference yet between low and high quality. Which is great for me, and a reason to buy this set and be okay as it gets used up in the pursuit of art. Be Amazing!

Great basic art set for kids. This is not the fanciest art set, but it contains everything we need for hours of fun this summer, and is reasonably priced. I'm looking after my two grandkids this summer while mom and dad are at work. So far we've had very rainy days, so we are basically housebound. I purchased sketch books for each of the kids, and we have this artist studio so that they can document their summer. They're thrilled. The set includes everything needed to produce some nice artwork - markers, crayons, pastels, colored pencils, watercolors with a mixing palette, plastic scissors (which actually work quite well, a pencil and sharpener, a ruler, eraser, white paint, a paint brush, paper clips, and a sponge.Both kids like to produce art, and can spend hours letting their imaginations go wild.

Great value - high quality and a good variety of art supplies for a great price (approx. 13 dollars at time of review.) I'm not sure why this needs to be portable, but given the packaging, it certainly is. So, for on the go or at home this is a good set with plenty of different things to do. You'll probably want to buy this alongside a pack of paper or art portfolio.Recommended, especially for families that are looking for a good set of art supplies - not professional quality, but good quality among what you could buy at box stores. Lots of supplies, than even if some get broken or lost, there are plenty of others to take their place.

If you have a budding artist at home this is the perfect gift to keep them inspired. You get colored pencils, crayons, markers, pastels, watercolor cakes plus a mixing palate, eraser, ruler, scissors and sharper and in a great travel case.Recently when visiting a friend we brought this along with some paper and it was amazing how creative and busy my child became. It is great to encourage children who want to learn to draw and for those who even enjoy just coloring. You have more then enough of everything to share with other family members who might want to help you.Great birthday gift or even something to put away for the holidays as you are never to old or young to draw or color.

This is a great kit for traveling. It's pretty flat so it doesn't take up much space in the suitcase. There is a little bit of everything so if you bring some paper, it will keep kids entertained for quite some time. A couple of the items are pretty useless, like the single plastic paper clip and the "sponge", and a couple of items I add like glue and tape. The crayons probably are not the highest quality but they are good enough for the purpose. My kids really enjoyed on our last vacation, to play with in the hotel room during down time. Great for keeping them occupied during those times.
