KloraneDetox Dry Shampoo with Aquatic Mint, All Hair Types, Invisible Finish, Cooling, Paraben & Sulfate-Free

To begin with, I like this dry shampoo a lot. Doesn’t take much and although I only leave it in for one day when I use it, I have the sense that I could go another day after using it. I only use it when I don’t have time to wash my hair the night before, when I should have. My hair is fine and now that I’m old, is dry rather than oily like when I was younger. Because it’s so fine however, I can only get 2 days out of a shampoo before my fine strands start to stick together. If I can’t/don’t wash my hair after the second day, I need a dry shampoo on day three.I use it as directed, shaking the can thoroughly and use sparingly. I let it sit in my hair for a minute or two and then comb it through, not brush it through and then style it. Yes, it has a whitish cast at the start but combs out. My hair is brown with gray/white strands so that probably helps.The can is small but I think that it’s because it doesn’t have a lot of propellant in it, so don’t let the small size scare you, and don’t feel like you have to fill your hair with the dry shampoo for it to work. That may also be why it is rated by Consumer Lab as having little to no trace of benzene in it, a known carcinogen. Several sunscreens were recalled this year that had high traces of benzene in them. Not ALL Klorane dry shampoos fit this category. This one and their Nettle Oil Control one do. It’s pricy but I like Klorane products so, there you are. Prior to using this dry shampoo, I used the No fragrance Not Your Mother’s Dry Shampoo which I liked a lot. So of course it is #1 on the list of high in benzene. Drat! I could buy it at my grocery store and for less money. However I do like the light minty fragrance of this dry shampoo and since I don’t need to use it often, the cost of having a benzene free (or close to it) is worth it. Well, that and I do like it too.You might want to search online asking for recalled dry shampoos. Many have been recalled:On October 18, 2022, Unilever issued a recall of 19 dry shampoo products including Dove, Suave, and Tresemme after an internal investigation found the products to contain benzene. I absolutely love this product. I’ve been buying this product directly from the company and saw that Amazon carries it. Well the last time I bought it (delivered on (12-5-22) it worked fine until yesterday. It completely froze up. I soaked it in warm water for awhile but it still wouldn’t come out. The container was extremely cold. There’s still at least half left. This is definitely a packaging problem. Is there any chance I could get another one sent to me replacing this one?

I’ve tried a lot of different dry shampoos…from drug store to high end. This one is by far my favorite. Not only does it stretch out how often I have to wash my my hair by doing a great job keeping it fresh, but I also love the mint scent.

I'm super oily - in summers, due to sweat and oil, I'm usually washing my hair 2 times a day. This does not bode well for hair color. I've been working myself down to 1x a day only to maintain hair color. I have tried a handful of dry shampoos - all with no success. I get itchy, crusty, clumpy - grossness. This one though is different. Do I still prefer freshly washed hair? Absolutely - but this helps me get through. I actually didn't wash my hair at all yesterday and hair looks and feels pretty good. Im not itchy or clumpy which says a lot. Does my hair look as good as it does freshly washed? No but it looks pretty darn good and has body. Ill keep this one. I really like the minty fresh feeling it gives my scalp too.

It works and it smells nice but it doesn’t really work much better than any other dry shampoo I’ve tried. For the price, and the 3 oz bottle (that came much smaller than expected), I wouldn’t purchase again.

It wasn't clear as advertised. At least on my light red hair. I did have a white powdery appearance wherever the product was applied. Similar to many dry shampoos.

This dry shampoo actually works great and the mint smell is perfect for a natural smell but also feels like and airy and not too thick. I’ve got dark hair and it doesn’t leave too much residue. It’s my new favorite

This is a great product! My scalp feels clean, awake & fresh. Klorane dry shampoos are good products 👌. This one has an extra edge that makes my scalp feel awake, dry, clean, freah & great! I highly recommend!

I've used several dry shampoos over the years, including the best known brand. They always leave my hair feeling weighed down, dried out and looking dull.This however, is completely different. I spray it on my roots, flip my hair upside down, wait 2 minutes then brush it out. It leaves my hair looking clean, feeling soft with no weigh down or chalkiness and it has a beautiful fresh "real" mint smell. It is pricier than most dry shampoos but for me its worth it.

Smells fresh and doesn't darkens my light blonde hair. Thank you for the swift delivery ;)

Great dry shampoo! I like the light, sweet, minty smell and it doesn’t leave hair white either. Won’t go back to my old dry shampoo; this stuff is my new favourite!
