Great strings at a great price!

The strings fit perfectly on my bass vi, arrived promptly and gave off a rich, vibrant sound. These strings also allow for strumming, as if playing a regular 6-string.

Perfect for my Schecter Hellcat Bass VI! I use this 24-90 Stringjoy string set with a Duesenberg Les Trem II (FYI the tailpiece requires a little bit of drilling out of the string slots to accommodate the string gauge and it's also requires a taller/stiffer Spring: Height: 1-1/8"(29mm); Diameter: 6/8"(18mm) which also available on Amazon) on my Schecter Hellcat Bass VI. It works flawlessly! Check out my video of this setup in action for reference.

This set of strings sounds and feels approximately the same as the D'Addario set with one very important distinction. The low E string is not as floppy, sounds better, and intonates way easier. I have a Squire Bass VI. The strings were the correct length and properly tapered in the right location and amount to work with the tuning machines. I can't speak to how they'd work with other brand bass VI type guitars, but for the Fender/Squier models, they're a perfect match. I'll see how they sound over time. If they continue to work well, I may buy a few spare sets since Bass VI strings are not always easy to get.

I purchased these strings for my Squire IV bass. The instrument came from the factory with FLATWOUND strings. I have played this bass with those strings for a couple of years now. I felt it was time to replace them. I looked at all the string options on Amazon (and at retail brick and mortar stores) for this instrument. It appeared this product met all of my needs. However, I overlooked the fact that the Amazon product listing did not include any information regarding the string type (roundwound or flatwound), it only stated "Wound" string. I incorrectly assumed this product would be a replacement for the factory strings, ie: flatwound. So, be aware of what type of string you are looking for and definitely DO NO purchase this product if you are looking for FLAT WOUND strings.

Well my experience with these strings is kind of confused. They clearly were less muddy than the stock stings on the Squire bass VI that for me was undeniable. But they seem to lose the warmer tone or mojo of what came on the guitar. The strings don't sound bad, but they sound different. So when I get a chance I'll try a new set of the fender bass vi strings. I guess I was disappointed with the String joy.

Sounds better than the stock strings on Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI. A perfect fit!

These strings are a better balance than the Squire VI original strings. So far so good.
