I recently got the Stanley Classic Vacuum Bottle in Hammertone Green, and I can't say enough good things about it! This bottle is huge, which makes it perfect for long days out or camping trips. Classic thermos that has been they go 24 twenty or more years. Same idea as the yeti cups, but rough and tumble, and hold up to rough handling

Okay, so for over three years this has been an outstanding thermos. Then about a week ago, the plastic plug started to discolor. The a perfect ring of plastic broke off the plug. (see pic) So, being a Stanley product, I figured they would stand behind their product. I called, on a Sunday, to ask for a replacement plug. Instead they sent me a brand new thermos, which arrived two days later. In summary, while their products are very good, their warranty policy is just as good, IMO.

the best. keeps hot coffee hot for 12+ hours, and keeps ice cold lemonade ice cold for 36+ hours (but not at the same time)

This 2Qt bottle is big, not backpackable size, but great for saving fuel/keeping hot water around camp for several days. I want to believe they've learned to make as good or even a better thermos out of lighter/better steel, but you can feel the weight difference between this and my 30 year old Stanley bottle immediately. They still keep coffee/water hot for days, so long as you perform the hot water pre-rinse. I just hope they'll hold up to the beating I put into my last one.

Bought this for my husband to take to work. It keeps his coffee warm all day. I read the reviews prior to buying, and yes, our thermos also came in dented. There's a dent on the lid (which isn't that bad) and one at the base of the thermos. The one at the base is annoying because it doesn't sit still on a table/counter - it has a wobble. Husband was okay with keeping because he's using it for work AND because we didn't want to gamble & have the replacement one have more/larger dents. Between Stanley & Amazon, they need more secure packaging.

It is the best one.
