Great for the price - better than those over the door ones and better than having my husband "pull out my neck!"
I have herniated discs in my neck and back, I sit at least 10 hours a day in front of a computer, I have gained quite a bit of weight over the last few years, which incresed my chest size and pulls my shoulders forward, and all of this basically makes my neck kill me. To deal with the pain long term, (I need to lose weight first of all but...) I get epidural steroid injections in my spine. The problem with that is the more you get them, the less effective they are. So I needed to find ways to relieve my neck pain and keep my spine in proper alignment between shots - enter this traction device...I think it's great. It is much better than laying on the bed and asking my husband to "pull on my head/pull out my neck" to un-pinch nerves or realign my neck. I also think the ones that go over the door just look ridiculous and seem like too much drama to set up, especially when you are in pain. This device is easy to use, it came with understandable instructions, and was a great price. I think it is completely comfortable and does not squish my face or jaw at all - meanwhile, people, if that is happening to you then adjust the velcro straps and/or let some of the air out - if you have ever been to a physical therapist, a lot do manual traction by pulling on your head, and this is much more comfortable!(The only issue I had is that the device smelled from the bag it came in for a few days - but the instructions that came with it said this may happen, and that the smell would dissipate after a few days - which it did). All in all - if you have neck problems and find yourself relieved after traction, this device is definitely good bang for the buck.

A Lifesaver!
Had this about a week and all I can say is what a relief! I have a bulging disc with central stenosis at C-6/C-7 and the doctors don't want to repair it yet with surgery and I have been in agony. Well, the first time I used this wonderful gadget and pumped it up, it took the pressure off the bulge and felt just wonderful. I've been using it about 3 times a day for about 20 minutes at a time. You don't want to pump it up very fast as I can tell that it might be a little fragile but I have had no problems with it yet. Even fell asleep with it on the other night. I really recommend it if you are having compression problems.

It goes very fast!
I bought this to finish up a chart that I was making and ran out of tape. It came very fast! The problem was that it actually was not 1/16 and was slightly smaller than the tape that I was using that was ordered from a professional company. When I received the tape, the package was open And that was a little disappointing. However, I needed to finish this project so I used it anyway. The tape was incredibly breakable. That was very frustrating. It ripped a lot as well. It also would come unpeeled from my chart and I had to keep pressing it down. I’m very concerned that it’s not going to hold over the weekend. I would pay the extra money to get a different type of material because the crêpe material just doesn’t work well. Also, the tape that I used before was about the same amount and I got more use out of it because it was better quality and didn’t keep breaking so I didn’t waste any tape. This wasn’t a complete waste of money because it was an emergency and it came fast but for a good quality chart, I would do my best to buy the same brand from the same place and pay better money for the product.

Cervical Neck Traction
I tried the "old school" Traction Bar that hangs from the door, and hated it! It was uncomfortable, difficult to get in and out and almost impossible to set up if you live alone. Also, the velcro got caught in my hair. I tried it about 4-5 times and gave up!This collar is FABULOUS!! Despite the fact it is pretty in color--not so obvious, it is easy to work. It is constucted well. The only thing is that there were no instructions, so I had to figure out how to set it up initially.I have had neck probs for yrs and am facing a 2nd surgery, and I think this collar is truly great!

For the money it does the job.
I go to physical therapy and use a neck traction device. This does the trick. I would like a little more pressure some days, and know this thing would pop, but my case is severe! This gets me by between visits, my insurance is going to cover a big expensive device that I look forward to , but in the mean time this is doing the job. Not bad for less than 30 bucks. FYI- If I knew about this 10 years ago my life would be a lot better. I think this would also make a great gift to anyone who complains about their neck, as neck traction devices are said to help with 85% of neck problems. This is an awesome way for you body to heal itself instead of popping muscle relaxers and pain killers.

Not worth the money
It is a very flimsy collar made of black felt. When you try to inflate it, it takes forever and does not stay inflated for any length of time. I bought it for my mom and had it shipped directly to her and she threw out the box and receipt. If I had seen it first I would have returned it. It didn't even come with instructions but it isn't hard to use. I work in a hospital and know how to operate that kind of mechanism so It isn't that I couldn't do it the correct way. Buy the As Seen on Tv one if you really want one. It was a little more durable.

Very effective
I've only had this for a few days, so I can't say how durable the product is.Still at $16 I can afford to replace it when needed.Using the device as directed I have noted an imporovement in my neck.I had a "knot" in the back of my neck the size of a golf ball, that seems to be abating.Take care you don't do up the velcro straps to tight before inflating or you'll strangle yourself :DIn my humble opinion, quite effective and well worth the money.

Tiny roll for the price
The tape looks fine quality wise but you get a very tiny roll for the price.

Good Tape - not a gloss plastic like Electrical Tape
Like a masking tape top but much stronger and slightly thicker.
