Really Really Good Product
Install was easy and fast. The first time I sat in the seat after install I could instantly feel the vastly improved position and comfort on my lower back. I spend a great deal of time driving from job site to job site and my back has paid the price. Highly recommend

Holy Cow! Awesome! Thank You!
I love my 2004 Toyota 4Runner but I could never get the Drivers seat into a position that I liked. I bought these Seat Jackers and installed them as soon as they arrived. The installation was very easy. The result was amazing! I finally found a comfortable seat position and now I love my 4Runner even more. This is definitely a worthwhile purchase and I would highly recommend them.

No longer skeptical
I refused to purchase these for almost a year. $109 for one pair?!? Plus, at 6’1” I was already tight and my knees super close to the wheel. But I figured I could always return them.Needless to say…they were installed and they aren’t coming out. I have just as much space for my knees (if not more), and the seating position is comfortable and near perfect.Yes, they are a little pricey. But they are SOLID! I ended up buying two pairs. One for the passenger as well.It does sit me a little higher, but not too high.Definitely would recommend these.

Worth every penny for Tacoma
2019 Tacoma TRD Off RoadInstant and significant improvement to seat comfort. This is a surprisingly good product, and truly changes for the better how the truck feels to sit in and drive. From the first moment you get in the seat, you'll notice that the seat feels much more comfortable, and the slight increase to the height of your sightline over the hood is beneficial and just feels much better overall. I am 6'0" with hip pain on my right side and wholeheartedly recommend this product.Installation is less than 10 minutes with nothing more than 14mm socket and wrench for the OEM bolts and a 15mm (or 9/16) for the supplied bolts. Pop the plastic covers off the rear bolts and loosen them slightly, then remove the front bolts, slide in and install the spacers with the supplied bolts, then reinstall OEM front bolts into the spacers and tighten everything down. Super simple and a major improvement overall.

BIG difference in comfort level of Tacoma stock seat - especially during long stretches on the road!
Hemmed & hawed over these (and similar knock-offs) for years. Balked and held off because of the ridiculous price for 2 pieces of milled aluminum. Still, if you want what they have, you either pay or go without, and, like they say: "Buy once, cry once." Yes, this is stupidly over-priced. It would be fine if it were for BOTH seats, but... it is what it is. And seeing as how 75% of my driving is solo anyhow, I just knuckled under and got the pair. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS (at least my set didn't come with them), so it might take some folks a bit to figure it out. Mine went in without a hitch - maybe 10 mins, tops, to install. It took some getting used to for the slightly different angle, but the additional room for my legs was a MAJOR comfort improvement. (And I'm not even that tall!) Fit & finish were first rate - no tweaking or fudging to get them in position. Included hardware worked as it should; (I added a drop of blue loc-tite to all bolts, to make sure they wouldn't work loose over time).(I suppose If my wife grumbles enough, I will spring for a set for her side, but she's much shorter than me, so I doubt she will.) Overall, quite satisfied.

Fits perfect. Easy installation. Well made product. If you're looking to get that support under your legs behind your knees, this is it.

Tacoma Base Model, BENCH SEAT: No Go
This review is only for gen 2, Tacoma with Bench Seat in the regular cab, base model !!!UPDATE 2-22-25:After a little more than a week with these, I couldn’t take it anymore with all the ducking my head at stop lights, etc. I was able to pull the steering wheel all the way out to avoid it making contact with my legs but this also made it less comfortable in having the steering wheel closer. Feels too crowded. So I went back to the stock configuration. Conclusion is that if you have a 2nd gen Tacoma with the bench seat, I would avoid the Seat JackersUPDDATE 2-12-24:I have determined that the raised seat compromises driving control / safety since the steering wheel is too close to my legs and due to the reduced visibility. Therefore, I have lowered my review to only a 3 star. If there was a height control on the bench seat, perhaps this would be different. Also due to the reduced visibility out of the top of the windshield, I experience neck pain as a result of ducking or cocked neck at stop lights in order to see when the light turns green. I am sure this would be a great product for Tacoma's with the independent bucket seats that do have the height control.ORIGINAL REVIEW 2-10-24:I have a 2012 Tacoma 2 door, Base model, 5 lug, with the single bench seat as opposed to the two independent bucket seats that most Tacos have. For the bench you only need two Jackers instead of four like the bench seats would need to lift them both. For the tight cab on the base model, wrench access was a little challenging but nothing serious. I found that after removing the two front seat bolts and loosening the two rear bolts, the bench seat needed to be rotated temporarily a bit during install to get the chair mounts out of the way. I have no torque wrench so I ‘wung it’ being sure not to over tighten which could strip the threads if not careful. I used a generous amount of blue thread locker on the original bolts and the bolts that came with the Jackers. Ok, job is done.First impressions are mixed as are final impressions. First thing I noticed was that my right leg barely squeezed past the seat and steering wheel as the seat is now an inch higher / closer. If my legs were any thicker, it would be a deal breaker. I’m 5’-10” and weigh 275 if that gives you any guide.Second impression was that my visibility was reduced. Drastically reduced? Well, visibility was already limited from the start, now I’ve lost even more upward viewing. Stop lights sometimes require ducking to see the light. The bench seat has no height adjustment like the buckets have. With the buckets people talk about not being able to get the seat up high enough without the Jackers and with them, they are able to use the height adjustment capability of the seat itself to bring the height back down. That’s one of the biggest downsides to the bench seat is no height adjustment. Part of the reason why the base model cost so much less I suppose. Now to discuss the whole reason for these things in the first place. Comfort. With the Jackers installed, it is much more comfortable. So much more comfortable that I’m willing to accept the tight pass below the steering wheel and the reduced visibility. The seat just now feels more supportive. I do still need to take a long drive before I am completely sold. I will update the review after that.So far, I suggest giving these things a whirl. Be sure to install them asap so you can have a little time to drive with them on and see if you want to keep them. For most women and many shorter men, there would be much less compromise. I don’t think these would be any help at all to tall people on Tacoma Base model with the bench seat but they may be appreciated by someone my size or shorter.
