New vs Refurbished blade
When I opened the blades to use them, they had grease on them. I've never opened a blade and they have had oil or grease. Well, I believe they were refurbished as they weren't very sharp either. But do to the tempsnI had to use them and clip my mini anyway. Thank goodness it wasn't one of the show horses . Stripes everywhere. Kind of disappointing.

Excellent quality.
I bought Wahl KM10 for my 2 dogs. But the blade that came with the machine was only good for 3 use. I was using WD40 to oil the blade that came with the clipper. Then started to look for maintenance of the clipper, and realized NEVER use WD40, it is tooo thin. Not sure if only blade was damaged for the clipper was also damaged. So decided to purchase replacement blade, and worked PERFECT! Now I only use Walh clipper oil for the blades after each use.

Not sharp
Normally these blades are pretty sharp but this one doesnβt cut through the hair of any dogs I tried last week when I received it.

Came sharp but...
Came sharp but doesn't have hardly any rails so it won't stand up to very many sharpenings before it's trash. In the photo the top one is my 2 yr old blade and the bottom is the one I bought this week.

Ok
The blade slipped out and now I canβt get the screws to loosen to put it back. The blade is useless now

Won't buy Wahl 10 blade again.
Wahl 10 blades seem to work well, ut only until they get sharpened. after that, they start dragging instead of cutting, and repeated returns to the blade guy for adjustment/sharpening rarely fixes them. This particular blade was no different. As this is the 4th wahl 10 blade that i've had with this problem (using various blade sharpening services), and my andis 10s are always sharpened without incident, i feel justified in generalizing it as a manufacturer issue. Perhaps they just don't like being loosened and tightened. I don't know. what i DO know, however, is i am happier to spend the few extra pounds getting an Andis that will last through many sharpenings, than a cheaper Wahl that i have to throw away after it's dull and can't be properly sharpened and re-aligned!Important to note that i ONLY have this problem with their 10s. so far, my 4f and 7f blades have re-sharpened and still work well.(for anyone interested, i've been grooming 24 years. I normally buy Oster or Andis blades, and started buying Wahl when they were on sale.)

Quality blades
This is a great blade, have been using a 10 blade for dog grooming now for 7 years, finally decided I needed to buy a replacement blade for my moser switch blade as I had some who lost x2 teeth on my old blade, this is a great replacement blade I use it on my cockapoo with a 4 and 7 comb on, I also use it for a cocker spaniel with a 1,2 and 3 blade on

Good finishing blade.
The clipper blade presented no problem in cutting the hair on my dogs. The dogs where shampooed and brushed prior to cutting. The length of cut was as I expected, just the right length not to sort, a good length for terriers coat. There where no lines in the finish cut. I think that if the dogs coat is matted then a standard blade used first would be better, the finish with an F blade.

Delivered quickly but very disappointed with these blades
Delivered quickly but very disappointed with these blades. I am noir new to clipping horses having been doing so for over 40 years, and using Avalon clippers for the last 4 years. These blades only lasted for half a horse before becoming too blunt. It was the horses 2nd clip and previous experience has been that a good set of blades last for 2 horses 1st clip. I have to question whether these are the genuine article.

Love this item
Love this item. Only took half an hour to groom my Shih tzu baby Made my life easier. My Shih tzu has very thick double lair coat and I was struggling to groom him, used to take me hours with other type of blades. I recommend this to every one.Note- Not sure about the seller though I am having problem regarding returns n refund the different item.
