RCA RFR1089 2 Door Apartment Top Freezer Refrigerator, 10 cu ft, Stainless

Arrived quickly (3 days) in good condition. Plugged it in...works well, looks good, pleased with the organization of the compartments. No issues whatsoever, and I didn't play the "wait 24 hours for compressor to settle" game either...don't buy that b.s....works great and it seems very quiet. Had ice within 4 hours...yeah, it's all good as far as I can tell.

I ordered this because it fit my measurements and cubic feet wants. Ordered from amazon because of price and desired color option being instock and available. Like others my first unit arrived with door damage. Manufacturer was no help and in the case Amazon customer service was helpful in getting a replacement sent out when I wanted. I deducted a star because I believe better manufacture packaging should be created for the refrigerator unit because my second unit also arrived damaged and the manufacturer was not helpful. Also as of not the unit on level 4, is empty and unused and is already creating ice in the freezer and has water condensation along the entire back of the fridge.I would recommend getting a different refrigerator unit if it meets your needs.

When I unwrapped this refrigerator, I found that it had five (5!!) very large dents in the stainless steel front - two in the freezer door and three in the refrigerator door. They cannot be covered with magnets -- they are VERY LARGE. And both of the rear side edges were smashed. It looked like someone had taken a hammer and taken out his/her frustration on the refrigerator sides. There was also a significant crack in the white plastic interior floor under the vegetable bin. The damaged condition of this brand new refrigerator was simply astounding. I now have to pay someone to get this junk out of the house, and I have to buy a new refrigerator.

When received and opened found it was dented on the side of the fridge but overall was good 👍

Previous reviews were not helpful for me but I am very happy with my purchase so far. No damage on delivery like other reviews, I watched mine get unloaded and it has plenty of foam to prevent any damages during delivery. Only complaint so far is that I had to scrape some ice off the back wall of the fridge. 3 beer cans froze but I simply adjusted the temp and made sure my cans weren't touching the wall.

It is a nice refrigerator, works ok, temp fluctuates somewhat not too bad. However, if you are buying to fit in a boat or camper make sure you know Depth is not correct on site...DEPTH IS 23.5 inches NOT 20.0 inches like it reads on ad page.This will cause you not to be able to fit the refrigerator in a low depth closet or unit. DEPTH IS 23.5 Not 20.0.

Bought this refrigerator last August and from the beginning I’ve had problems with it the main one being that it drips down the back of the inside of the refrigerator and forms a big ice block which I have to remove every 2 to 3 weeks which means I have to defrost every 2 to 3 weeks. It also forms a puddle down at the bottom under the vegetable Container which Has to be soaked up every single day. I am most displeased with this refrigerator and haven’t had time to deal with it because my mother has been terribly ill. Also noticed a crack on the inside of the refrigerator and have no clue how that happened. Please get back to me about replacing this RCA refrigerator.
