Bought this for my son's school lunch and we are very pleased with the quality of the item and that it can be placed in the dishwasher. My son had to practice opening and closing the latch because it is stiff and a little difficult for a 5 year old, but it also means that it is closed securely. We really haven't used the chill insert that you can put into a freezer to keep items cold, and if I was going to purchase again I'd get the version without as it adds weight that isn't necessary for us, but we'd go with Bentgo again.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one lasted me 2.5 years. The tray got a little bent and it was hard for my toddler to close by himself at daycare. We’ve also used it over the weekends and it does keep his food nice and cold. The quality is really good, and I think using the first one for 2.5 years every day it lasted a while. And it holds the perfect amount of food for him. Definitely worth the money.

I love these little boxes. They are built well and have several "pouches" so you can mix and match snacks. The box I bought doesn't have a great place for sandwiches and I wish it did but I think they offer other designs that have this option. It has an ice tray that goes underneath which is such a cool feature and it has clips on the side so it doesn't pop open and you loose all your food. They have various color options and though the price is high in my opinion, I had already seen my nephews box when I bought these, so to me they were worth the money.

The lunch box is sized properly for my soon-to-be kindergartener, and the material is of good quality. The only drawbacks are that the item is quite heavy if we leave the ice tray inside, and that it does not keep food warm, it is designed only for cold or fresh items. And it does keep items cold/cool. My 5 years old son didn't have any problems opening it, which is a good thing. The food tray comes off easily for microwaving (3 mins max per instructions) and for cleaning. The ice tray was harder to remove, though, and it must be removed because it is not dishwasher safe. Overall a good product, good value for the money, but needs a hot food solution.

Got this for my granddaughter and its perfect for her lunches. The durability is amazing and keeps her food fresh. Easy to store. Great value for the money. Have 3 all together and love each of them. Will absolutely purchase again and highly recommend if you have little ones.

Works fine. But the lid doesn't open flat which might bother some. It also doesn't work well without the ice tray. And I find this part of the instructions odd, though. Store OPEN, not closed or locked. Who's going to do this?? Lol It has met our needs well enough.

It keeps the food cold until lunchtime! The food tray is dishwasher safe-just make sure to put it on the top rack, or it's easy to clean by hand and stores well. This product fits perfectly inside reusable lunch bags and is better for the environment (no more plastic baggies at lunchtime). It also comes in a variety of colors, so you can keep each child's separate (important if a child has food allergies!)This lunchbox is well worth the money. Not only will you be happy as a parent, but your kids will enjoy lunchtime and have full tummies once again!
