I've tried many, many matcha powders over the past several years because I decided at one point to replace my expensive sbucks green tea latte habit with something I could make at home. This matcha powder surprised me. I'm well aware of the grades of matcha, so I knew it was a culinary grade, which is usually what I purchase with fairly low expectations. It's bright green, smells nice and grassy, is not bitter (at least it's not in an unsweetened latte--I haven't tried it just as green tea with water), and is comparable to the Sprouts matcha powder I had been using lately. It might actually have a better flavor, although it's pricier. It dissolves really easily if you make a paste first by whisking it with a few drops of boiled water and then slowly adding more water as you keep whisking. I haven't had any chunks or undissolved powder at the bottom of my cup so far, unlike most of the other matcha powders I've tried before. Overall, I'm happy with this and will most likely purchase it again.

Super affordable, tastes great, a little goes a long way. If you use a milk frother to blend it, it’s super smooth. If you like lattes, try this: 1 tsp matcha and half a teacup of boiling water. Add agave nectar or whatever sweetener you like. Mix for a few seconds with a handheld milk frother. Then microwave about a 1/2 or 2/3 cup of milk for about 1min15sec until it starts to boil. Remove and froth with hand held frother. Pour into teacup.

YUM! The best Organic Matcha Green Tea! Love it. Since my heritage is Japanese, and I grew up having this delicious, healthy matcha green tea...this one is so right on! Love it. Fresh as can be. Smells perfect and tastes perfect as well.

had purchased a different brand that was sweetened, just curious, but the sweet was so overpowering that there was no tea flavor. after using your brand it was so much more tastier with a better color. the aroma was not as strong as some teas but the overall taste was there.

I really like this Matcha. It tastes great, is a vibrant green color, and blends very well. It’s great hot or cold. I can’t wait for my boba to come and make a blended green tea with boba.

I love this tea. It is refreshing, it has a crisp taste with a clean after flavor. I like drinking it both cold and hot.I feel more balanced after a nice glass of tea. Usually I like a piece or two of candy at night, drinking the tea in the evening takes the craving away, which is better for my waistline.I have told the caregivers I work with to start drinking it for extra boost of energy .

This product is MADE IN CHINA. MADE IN CHINA.The product page repeatedly show JAS ( Japanese Agricultural Standard ) but it is not certified by JAS. I am going to report this issue to Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan. I AM VERY UPSET. Certified by JAS was one of the main reason I purchased this product. But it is not! Maybe this is not certified by USDA as well. I will report this issue to the Amazon as well.Again, this is NOT JAS certified. This product is MADE IN CHINA.

Bought this and another that was at a similar price point. Vast difference as this was far greener and grassier than the other. Will buy again.
