Tall Modern Cast Iron & Steel Etinas Chimenea, Log Burner (Large Garden Patio Heater, Fire Pit BBQ Chiminea)

Needed this for an alfresco halloween. Really good size. Popped it to the exterior of a three sided gazebo and lit it a couple of hours before everyone arrived. It was 9 degrees celsius and people ended up taking their coats off it had warmed up the space so well. It really throws heat out. Very pleased with purchase and received excellent customer service from Harry's Garden world. I suspect this will see much use over this winter

Door catch required fettling but works ok now. With decent wood and the grate removed (wood burns best in a bed of ash) this is easy to light and heats up nicely.

earlier adverse comment regarding this supplier was incorrect as the fault is with the chosen carrier. The supplier despatched the order with 24 hours but the carrier had lost the package but did not advise anyone. Based on this I am happy to confirm this supplier as being efficient and honest they even refunded an amount as recompense for the carriers errors.

Not very well designed with a lot of fiddly bolts with washers and spring washers. You need your own tools. Takes a fair amount of time to get up to temperature even lighting with kindiling and fire lighters. Burns best with split logs rather then logs from branches covered in bark. I am wondering if an open fire pit might have been a better buy as it requires almost no assembly and is less the a quarter of the price.

Quick delivery, all parts present and correct. I liked that all the bolts and fittings were secured on a plastic sealed card , and grouped together as required by the stages of assembly - some thought was given there.Nice fire on the patio for meeting friends (only one other household of course in times of COVID) on a cold afternoon.

Nice sturdy firepit- it needs to be quite heavy due to the high winds and rough weather in the North of Scotland and this is heavy enough not to move even in the worst weather. Be careful with the door and poker as they get very hot - keep an oven glove handy or remember to take poker off and keep off till fire is well out - great for sitting out in the evenings 😀

The media could not be loaded.  Arrived today damaged, the main cast shell cracked. Otherwise is beautiful looking chimenea.

Arrived as if a child had packed it. Fire bowl was badly cracked and chimney dented. Fixings missing or loose in the box. Actually, to be honest it looks like a child made it too. Not worth the £160 I paid. In fact other than its scrap metal value, worthless!!!
