The first thing to say is that the description is accurate. I bought the grey bag - it makes a nice change from the endless black bags one sees people using for business (and it makes it easy to find in a crowd).Starting on the outside:With the bag closed up you still have access to two zipped pockets. One is the fold over cover, and the other on the back of the back. Also on the bag, you'll find one of those really useful straps that allow you to slide the bag over the extendable handle of a trolley bag: really handy. All the pockets (of the grey bag) have a bronze/brown interior.The shoulder strap:The shoulder strap is a permanent feature. It is stitched in place (so can't be unclipped as in some bags). That said,if you don't want to use it, you can tuck it away neatly under the fold-over flap. No problem.The fold-over flapAs noted above, it two has a zipped pocket. It is held closed by two good quality clips. I like the extra security this brings to the main contents.End pocketsThere are two end pockets, both the same size, and suitable for a phone or small water bottle. They are held closed by elastic, so will grip whatever is slid inside.On the Inside:Unclip and open the fold over flap and you see 3 x zip compartments - the main compartment, plus two smaller ones (normally covered by the fold over flap). One of these smaller compartments has small divided pockets inside for carrying pens, keys, a calculator, etc.The main compartmentZip fastened, like the rest. Inside, you find a handy tag for keys and well padded section for your tech-gear - laptop, for example. You'll also 3 further pockets, two of which are zipped (and one of which is see-through netting).The construction quality is high and the material itself is very sturdy. Overall, it's a great bag - I'm delighted with it.

After using for a few weeks this bag has been very good. Stores my 14" laptop very well and really good padding. It also has a lot storage, many pockets with zips. The two water bottle holders on either end are also very good and have held the bottles I've put in them very well.

Love the design and all of the compartments. All in all very stylish messeny bag.Cons: not water resistant. After being in rain couple of times, I have noticed staining on inner lining. Outside of the bag is still very clean. Another thing that I don't like that much is that plastic feel that you can actually feel between the lining.

Ive been looking for a new work bag for a long time and having returned loads of samples i settle on this bag.For the money its great and it has a ton of pockets.So why only 4 stars?OK this is down to just one thing.... the strap.Its a little bit on the light side and not as comfortable as i would have liked. I would be happy to pay another £10-15 for a better strap. I hope the manufacturer reads this as the bag is amazingFor the money you will not be disappointed!

Bought this to replace an ageing Eastpak bag that I use for work. This is excellent - well constructed, with a large secure compartment, properly cushioned for my laptop. Feels very sturdy and secure, unlike the newer Eastpak equivalents which are flimsy and lightweight in comparison (and more expensive.)Highly recommended.

Well thought out internal pockets and structure. I use it to carry all my electronics and notepad for work.

Strong with good strap. Plenty of pockets inside. Good protection for iPad/laptop
