Supports a large radio and works well with a backpack on a long day
Picked this up to replace an aging harness I had been using and so far it's been a solid upgrade. Our radios are rather old and massive but with the adjustable base, I had no issues with it fitting in place and staying snug, especially with the elastic top strap to avoid any side to side issues. Still need to dial in the exact fit so I get things off to an angle as the photo shows but with 3 adjustment options, it fit me just fine (6'2, 200 - may be a squeeze if if your chest is really built) and really did a nice job of distributing the weight around to keep it off my shoulder. On my feet for a full day, climbing 4,000 - 6,000' of vert and 8-12 miles with a full pack on and no comfort issues so far. The orange is however intense, but black was out of stock so making it work.

Excellent chest strap radio holster, great for industrial work!
I use this at work (I'm an Industrial Mechanic) and it works well. There is a bit of adjustment to the feel (back soreness minor). I choose this because I don't like tool belts and having a radio in my back pocket was causing me issue in tight spots. The zipper has held up well!

Perfect.
I'm a train operator and I was looking for something that would allow my radio to be more accessible while I was working. I received my new radio holster today and its just what I was looking for. Solid design. Appears to be durable and I like the adjustable velcro strap in the radio holster so you can fit radios of different lengths. I use a Motorla r765 and when I put it in the holster, I couldn't press the talk button and was worried I would need to return it until I saw the velcro strap. The strap allows you to adjust the pocket to whatever size you need. This is a good buy. Made in the U.S.

The size
Purchased this holster for my two way radio I use in wild land fire service. I am 6’2” tall and 205 lb. Fit build and not porky. The holster straps needed to be let out all the way to accommodate my torso wearing a t shirt. While on duty I typically wear a long sleeve nomex over shirt and when its cold possibly a jacket. Although the straps are elastic This holster would never fit comfortably over all those cloths. A XL size may be a better fit. I wish the straps were not elastic. I’d prefer just nylon webbing. As for the fitment for a radio, no prob. Has a small pouch for a normal size cell phone too. Think I phone 6 All and all. A decent product but comes with service type limitations.

good price, arrived quickly, I have a fairly long antenna on my Forest Service radio it sticks, a bit, in my face. that is the only problem. easy to put on. if u need more storage u might want another one. I'v ordered another one just because I want a bit more storage. Carpenter Mtn fire lookout, Oregon.

Does the job
I’m a conductor for a railroad so during rainy days I’ve chosen to use this harness to hold my radio since my rain gear doesn’t allow me to clip it anywhere. So far this harness has withstood a few rains and hasn’t been compromised. Only thing is I have a wider upper body so even at it’s looses setting it hugs me snuggish. I’ve seen guys at work use this year round so if you’re looking for longevity this one’s nice too.
