Potensic D68 Drone with 4K Camera for Adults, GPS FPV Quadcopter with Brushless Motor,Optical Flow Positioning, Auto Return Home, Follow Me, Point of Interest, 25 Mins Flight Time, Aluminum Carrying Case

This was my 9 year old's (and my) first drone. We wanted something easy to fly with decent range that wasn't crazy expensive. The D68 fits the bill. We've flown it higher than I felt comfortable (about 120ft) and it is stable. It even handles itself well in wind, although in stronger breezes I keep it below the tree line. We've managed to avoid crashing it so far. Flight time was a big factor in the purchasing decision. We've easily gotten 20 minutes out of one charge. It will beep before it goes out of range and if it does lose signal from the controller it will initiate the return-to-home function which works very well. The app is intuitive. Pictures and video look sharp. Of course a 2 axis gimbal or image stabilization would be nice, but for us not worth the added premium at this point. Make sure your phone has 5Ghz WiFi capability! You don't need the phone to fly and have fun, but it's nice for FPV and some extra flight telemetry. There are three speed settings and it's pretty fast on the highest. We're very happy with this purchase.

I have been thinking about getting a drone for awhile, but wasn't sure how I would really use it, so I bought this as a toy to play with and I am VERY happy with my new toy. Getting it going the first time was a bit of trouble for me (read the instructions about calibration and connecting to the smartphone carefully and it comes with pre-set limits on distance and height that can be changed). It is EASY to fly- even the first time- and taking photos and videos is also easy; the camera is high quality. I wish the battery lasted longer, but everything else about this is a great first time drone. I'm having fun with my new toy and recommend this drone for first timers for price, easy of use, and high quality.

This is my first drone and what a great choice it was! It has great stability when flying and ease of use with the app. There are no settings you can change for the camera specifically, but it takes great pictures. The pictures i posted the camera wasn't fully clean due to takeoff but it still takes great pictures for the price. I believe this is a great value for what you are paying. The case it comes in is amazing. The drone can get pretty far from your phone while staying connected. I had one case of the drone losing connection with my phone, but the controller could still control the drone. I flew back towards myself and the phone reconnected. From what I can tell there is very minimal lag between the drone and the video feed to the phone which is great. Average 23-25 minute flight time. would recommend buying additional batteries. Another note, the drone goes so fast in the highest speed setting that if you make a sharp turn you will lose some altitude so stay aware of what you get close to. I really enjoy flying this drone and I think it is an amazing starter drone.

As a beginner, I as looking for the next step. Did a lot of research and decided to try the Potensic D68. It came in a classy metal box. Was kinda nervous so I looked at a lot of videos as to how to fly it. My first flight was surprisingly successful and easier than expected. Had a little trouble with the response and speed of the drone. Way fast and responsive. Took about 5 min. to master it. Not bad for a beginner. Spend the remainder of the time (about 15 min) just playing. It hovers fantastic, turns and climbs on a dime and takes fantastic pictures. Extremely pleased with my purchase. Can't wait to push it a little more tomorrow.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this Potensic Drone D68 because of such great reviews, I must eco all the hype about this drone I am happy I chosed the Potensic brand. The D68 flew flawlessly.. all special functions work follow me, orbit mode, out of range mode, clear video - photos and auto return home gps feature is awesome. Battery life gives you a nice flight time. Oh the remote control is Nice... The only thing is Battery takes a while to recharge 3-4 hours but its worth the wait. Im so ready to fly again.Thank you Potensic team!!

I don’t give a 1 star lightly. After reading both the good and bad reviews I tried to find a balance and it seemed like a reasonable purchase. It’s incredibly frustrating to use and does not connect well at all. I’ve tried to use it 3 times, the first I couldn’t figure out how to calibrate it, the 2nd got it off the ground but the controls lost connection, the 3rd couldn’t get it to connect. I missed my window to return it. Don’t be me. Maybe if you live more in the middle or nowhere with the least amount of interference it would work better. The video and picture quality seem decent. Overall I’m incredibly disappointed. I loved the compact size and that it comes with an extra blade.

not very stable and Circle Fly does not work no way points but fast and clear camera

I purchased this drone for my husband's birthday. It arrived on time and as advertised. My husband has really enjoyed it! He says it is easy to fly, the camera has pretty good quality, and the connection range is pretty good. If you have the money, this is a good drone.CAVEATS:Calibration takes some getting used to. You have to go through all the steps each time you turn it on, but you will get used to it. It seemed like connecting to a new phone (my son's) caused calibration to "start from the beginning"; it was just as hard to calibrate as the very first time we used the drone.Be aware of the Wifi range. The drone uses Wifi to talk to the attached cellphone for video streaming. If you fly too far away your phone may lose connection, at which point it may connect to another Wifi access point! THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE ABILITY TO FLY THE DRONE. If the video doesn't restart when the drone comes closer, check how your phone is connected.Flight time (i.e., battery discharge time from full) is about 15 minutes. Fortunately there is an easy way to get a second battery.
