3mm and 20 inches in length, this is a good short length to wear and a solidly heavy piece if you want to make a statement. It's probably better suited for men but I quite like this for myself. I think this is perfectly unisex.This is not a traditional box chain, but most definitely a strong looking squared Franco link. The rhodium plating makes for a high polished look, much shinier than unplated sterling silver which will patina over time. It's quite a bit blingier.The links feel smooth with minimal chance of kinking or snagging your clothes.I don't care for the clasp. It's a lobster style that's really awkward to open unless you have really strong nails and it's hard to align the opening without seeing. It does feel secure.That aside, this ARGENTO REALE necklace is a good quality, clean signature piece that you could wear every day.

The Argento Reale 925 sterling silver necklace is impressively heavy. This necklace is sturdy and well made. It is a square box link necklace and advertised as suitable for men or women. I think it is much more appropriate for men. To me, it appears to be too masculine, too heavy for most women.The necklace does not seem suitable for any pendants or charms. It is intended to be worn as is.The only negative about this necklace is the hook. The open/closing hook is rather small and does not appear to be well designed. The closing clasp tends to get in the way of the necklace loop.This is a fairly expensive silver necklace and it does not come in a gift box. It comes in a small draw string black bag. I would have thought for a necklace at this price point, the presentation would have been better. If you intend to give this as a gift, you are going to need a separate gift box.The box links are sturdy and look great. It is impressive for its weight and would be a great necklace for any man who likes wearing necklaces.

This necklace looks better in person than in the pictures! I love sterling silver and this looks like good quality silver. The three millimeter is the perfect thickness. I think that it a good unisex piece. It is thick enough for a woman looking for a bold look or a man. Twenty four inches is my preferred length. It is good for wearing with any shirt. It doesn't snag my clothes or my hair. I appreciate the rhodium plating. I have always had a problem with tarnishing, so that's an added bonus that I can appreciate. I have found no negatives with this necklace except for the clasp. It can be awkward for for a man with large fingers. I also think that it should come in a box. I wouldn't want to give a gift of this quality with a drawstring bag. It makes it appear cheap.

This is MUCH more impressive in person. Absolutely beautiful. 20 inches long, nice and solid-heavy. If I'm wearing just a chain, I like to feel a bit of weight to the chain. The ends will be a bit big to get a charm over though. Stamped 925 on clasp and hole. The links I thought would pull my hair, because they expand and contract with movement, resembling dragon scales in my opinion, but they haven't at all. This I would recommend to everyone-exceptional quality silver I've not seen in mail order stuff in a long time.

I got this necklace to try with my charms and it was just thicker than what I wanted. I could not even fit the charms over the chain because it's so thick and the clasp is also chunky and thick.Personally I think this looks quite masculine and would be great for a guy that wanted a necklace. This is an attractive twenty-inch chain rhodium plated necklace that has a 925 Sterling Silver mark. It appears to be sturdy and well-made, but only time will tell whether its beauty will last. My only reservation is that the clasp may cause problems unless your fingers are particularly nimble. Since the mechanism is tight, small, and awkwardly designed, it usually takes two or three tries to get the necklace fastened.
