Jerzees J100 Adult Heavyweight Cotton HDCotton Jersey Polo

I got this on sale and upon wearing it for the first time realized I'd still paid too much.The "6 oz. cotton" fabric makes for a shirt that is about as substantial as one of those cheap T-shirts you can buy "6 for $5!" at a Swap Meet. It feels cheap, looks cheap, and wears cheap. The weave is so insubstantial it makes the shirt itchy to wear - heavier weave cotton makes for a smoother surface against your skin and is thus more comfortable.I thought this might be due to the shirt's being new and perhaps still stiff from the chemicals used in its manufacturing. So, I threw it into the wash first thing. Noticed some small amount of shrinkage - but then the cut of the shirt is not generous for tall folk to begin with - and found the fabric still just as cheap and coarse feeling after being washed.If I'd bought this in a store I'd have returned it already. Very unimpressive.

I read the customer reviews carefully and noted a definite trend recognizing that this Jersey runs too small for sizes indicated. So I ordered a 3X when my normal fit is 2x. Was a wise decision that I recommend to others as this 3X fit like the 2X that I wanted. I'm happy with the shirt, but still wish that Amazon would see that clothes conform to standard accurate sizing so that we don't have to guess based on inferences from the reviews.

I just cant give a good review here. The shirt looks uneven(the collar is bigger on one side, yea...) also after only wearing it a few times it began to turn yellow around the areas where I usually sweat(underarms, neck, etc) I washed it in an attempt to remove the stains but to no avail..

This is a very poor product. Ordered XL normally roomy loose fit on me, this shirt fits tight like between Large and Medium. Fabric is rough and itchy. Tried it on, hated it, went right into the recycle box, not worth the bother of returning.

It's not heavyweight and it's not sized right. I ordered a 3xl (sure, I got a Dad bod gone to seed) because Amazon Basics polos are perfect in that fit. This was not. Very thin cotton and the 3xl was a 1xl. I threw it across the room and will return it when I calm down. Very annoyed.

I always wear an extra large, but after reading the reviews, purchased a 2xl. After a couple of washes, it fits well but a bit baggy. If you line dry these or shake them well before you dry on low heat, they are fine and close to true size. The 2-2xl's I bought are hanging in the closet as maybe a backup. The black fades nicely after several washes. If you are a borderline XL..on he lower side..they will work great.

Not as soft as I was hoping for so will wash a few times. Def order one size larger, esp. if you have any sort of beer belly as they fit on the tight side. Length was good.

If I was writing a description of these shirts, "heavyweight" probably wouldn't be in there. However, the fabric is comfortable, and has a smooth texture. They do seem a little small for the size, but overall they are a good value for their price, and I would by again.
