Velvet Flocking Swirl Upholstery 58 Inch Fabric by The Yard (F.E.®) (Orange)

Really cool dimensional waves to this velvet, it’s actually 3D. Backing is fairly stiff though, so I wouldn’t recommend it for making clothing with any kind of drape. Used it as wallpaper for this prop box and it turned out great.

Fabric is strong and beautiful. Should work well on bench seat.

I am very happy with this Velvet Flocking Swirl fabric. I used it to make drapes. The sewing went well on my basic sewing machine even through three thicknesses of material. The material was easy to cut. This material has a white muslin type edge which I folded under twice to make a hem on either side for the drapes. I bought 4 yards of this Burgundy color and 5 yards of the Purple color. The Fabric Exchange has a great website with a great variety of fabrics.

I ordered the swirl but got just plain velvet. I went ahead and used it anyway because I didn't want to wait and the quality of the material was good. I re upholstered kitchen chairs with it. I would just caution that if you have cats you may want to rethink using this texture of fabric. Cat hair adheres to it in masses. I would not hesitate to purchase from the same company but would instead choose a fabric that could easily be wiped off for use on a kitchen chair.

Everything I was looking for. Illustrious sheen with a beautiful rich purple hue. Highly recommended
