Hyperflex ACCESS 5mm Round Toe Boot

I ordered these Hyperflex boots a size bigger and bit thinner (5mm) than I usually wear. There's no instep strap, so I was afraid they might feel loose and squishy on the board. But they work great: The boots are snug, they're easier to pull on and off and my feet stay warm even in 37F water. I'm hoping these will last two or three more winter seasons.

bought these for winter paddle boarding. they are warm and dry quickly for tomorrow's session. they are simple no velcro straps to get in the way. I have wide feet and they fit well.

These booties are excellent for covering your toes while white water SUPing. Comfortable and sturdy!

Surf shoes should perfectly form around the foot so no water stays in the shoe. The flat bottom of this shoe leaves a lot of space for water to come in and stay in.

Great boot at a great price. Simple construction seems to hold up very well and minimize areas of potential leakage. Good board feel- not like wearing sneakers like some other thick booties. Fit true to size. Shipping was fast and easy

stretchy and comfy

I wanted a lighter duty pair than my 7mms. I use these for River surfing. The good news is that they are light and fine for warmth in fall weather. They seem to be holding up okay for durability. The soles are very pliable so that is good for board feel when surfing, but it also means you still feel every sharp rock on the walk back, and there is no traction on the bottom so they are slippery. Also I notice that these things fill up with water really easily, even when tucked under a wetsuit. Given that they are letting that much water in, a drainage hole might have been nice - I may consider adding one myself because you can literally dump out a cup of water or more after every wave.
