Göksu Threaded CO2 Cartridge Gallo Drain Gun Blaster Cleaner for A/C Condensate Lines Starter Kit with Drain Hose

Gallo gun is a must have for HVAC professionals. In a very small package you can clear any drain line from above. I've had people in my field recommend clearing lines with a nitrogen tank which doesn't make any sense to me. Who wants to drag a nitrogen tank up into an attic? Not me for sure. If you pressurize from below with anything it's very possible to make a mess in the attic or coil cabinet. Many drains I've cut to clear needed small buckets to drain into. Nobody wants that mess in the attic. I always cut the line after the trap and vent. Usually the blockage is downline so I charge first downline then back into the coil cabinet. Make sure you are prepared with a small bucket and if the AC drains into indoor plumbing to cover any close sinks with a rag so as to not make a mess there. My drain kit includes: Rags, a small bucket, PVC cutter, PVC coupling, PVC glue, Galo Gun and a extra CO2 charge. Also generic CO2 cartridges will not work in this tool. I get cartridges at my local HVAC supplier. It is working as expected, came with 2 cartridges. Well packed.

Easy to assemble and use however it does blow through the cartridges as stated in many of the other reviews.That said, IT WORKS WELL, and that’s the point. I used both cartridges included with the tool and cleared my line without issue.I’ve ordered more cartridges for next time.

Used these to hold curtain rods. Hard to find in color and color is the only thing that is not quite right about these. They are not what the plumbing/lighting world in calling "Rubbed Bronze" - they are sort of bright and glossy - much like the photo illustrates.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this unless your in a pinch/need one quick due to prime shipping. It comes as advertised, or all parts included and mine had good pressure and was able to clear the clogged HVAC drain line but I had to use both cartridges. The entire product feels cheaply made/not sturdy. For me, when connecting the cartridge it would start to rapidly leak CO2 the moment the cartridge got punctured. I wasn't expecting this so I probably vented half of my first cartridge due to not being in position on my drain line. I added some Teflon tape for the second cartridge but it still leaked.

Well, gotta say, I received the drain gun today, first shot, clogged drain cleaned!!! That was much easier than I thought it would be! Great product that comes with 2 cartridges. Thanks to Prime to that I've got it in 2 days. Solved the big headache in 2 minutes.Definitely recommended!!

I was having issue with HVAC drain line, used this drain gun to clear it out. I have used plunger but no luck. I had to use both cart. because it was clogged pretty bad. If that's the issue, it would work for you.

The bottom of the handle cracked as I tried to tighten it.Although it still works, but i am worried that the crack will be getting bigger.

Great way to clear my A/C drain line. I only used one of the cartridges, keeping the second one as spare. Make sure to screw the hose in very well in order to prevent any leak. Overall good quality.
