Q: can this project an image into cavas or wall as a mural, and how big ?

Best to ask the manufacture, I have my projector mounted on a vertical slide and do not want to take it down to project on the wall.Sorry.

Q: is it easy to copy an image from a thick bound book? I'm trying to figure out how big of an image I can copy and then project onto the wall...

What I have done with that type of image is scan the picture on my computer and print the image to a more usable size ... 4x6 or 5x7 seems to work best. On this projector a larger image would have to be moved and readjusted by section ... possible but would be hard to keep it alined. If the image you are going to project fits the projection plate you are going to have a better result in you overall image.

Q: do I have to tear images out of a book to copy or can I just scan the book somehow?

As long as the book will lie flat when open, I think you could just use the book. It would really depend on the size and shape. The area that scans the picture isn't that big and, like a photocopy machine, it works better when the top closes over the image.

Q: Is there a system to mount this overhead - so the projection will focus onto my desk top?

If there is, I am not aware. This is not a computer plugged in projector. This is a manual projector where you put the image in and it makes it larger on the wall or some other larger object. You would most likely have to create a mount for it if you are looking to use it for that purpose, though I would not recommend it. It seems like it would be amazingly difficult to adjust the positioning and allot for all the small adjustments if it were mounted over your head. Not to mention a little dangerous. Best use is to place the smaller image in the projector, and line up on a wall and adjust till it is the size/focus you want.

Horrible, no es posible algo peor.

Estoy estupefacta leyendo los comentarios positivos. A lo largo de mi vid he hecho malas compras pero ni de lejos lo de esta patata.La calidad de construcción es de lo peor, una pasta penosa. Hace mucho ruido. Lleva unas bombillas que se calientan una barbaridad, pero que meten miedo. Pero encina no proyecta nada, es horrible. Y olvídate de la ampliación que es prácticamente nula. Y para rematar, ese pedazo de pedrusco, feo de narices, es más caro que un estupendo protector digital con altavoces incluidos. Increíble... Hay que se primo, pero primo, para no devolver este carísimo, carísimo carísimo, objeto.

Bin im großen und ganzen zufrieden kann man nur kleine Projekte machen die reichen mir nachteil ist es mus sehr dunkel sein sonst alles unscharf und schlecht sichtbar ist sonst bin ich durchaus zu frieden
