The Red Eye LED Gun Light produces a piercing red spot beam, with a a clear shooting range of 200 metres and great clarity. By using a red LED it means there is no loss in light performance and has great eye reflective capabilities. It has 2 brightness settings and uses a rechargeable using a 18650 Li-ion battery, giving a 2 hour continuous duration on high beam and 10 hours on low, with a quick recharge time of 6 hours. The RE1-GL is lightweight - only 280g with battery and gun mount. Included is Clulite's unique 25/30mm dual gun mounting kit which is the best gun mounting system on the market and is quick and easy to use. The kit is supplied with 2 switches giving the option of using the stock mounted pressure switch on the gun or the press button switch for use as a handheld torch. Good torch but annoying brightness control
Torch works quite well and throws far enough for me to use at night sub 100 yards. Have not tested further yet. One feature I find annoying (hence the 3 start review) is the fact that the torch has 2 brightness settings but changes setting every time you turn it on. So the first shot is on bright setting, the second is on dim setting, the third is bright again, you get the idea. Very annoying. Other than that, fine.I found the customer service excellent though as I lost the screw that operates the torch clamp at night ( note that this is not a captive screw) but clulite sent me a couple of replacements in the post within a few days foc. Great!!
