The Broken Token Machi Koro Compatible Game Organizer - Wood Storage Box with Multiple Dividers, Rows and Bit Boxes

So, I like these, but there are a few things that down graded my starts to it's okay.1) It's a bit pricey for what it is. It's cool and all, but for the money I have high expectations.2) It's slightly too large for the box, I'm talking a tiny amount. The inside of the box was not intended for a sharp corner anything so it flexes out the box just a tad. This means the lid (which although fits) it SUPER snug making it a little too hard to take the top off than desired. Ultimately if it was just a teeny tiny bit smaller altogether this would not be a problem. I get that this is hard to do since the box manufacturers might have some variance in production themselves, but once again ... as a consumer paying money I just want it to work right.3) The removable tray doesn't hold up together very well. The way the plexi glass top was designed you have to apply pressure to it to slide the locks out of their position in the wood. Problem is that once you pop them (the plastic locks) out of their holes they just press the wood sides out, and since it's just some simple pressure holding it all together the plexiglass pops the sides off every-time. So you just have to hold it all together, remove the plexi, push it back together and then play. Additionally, it's ends up being weird to play out of. You can't get fingers in there easily without breaking it again to grab your coins or whatever ... you have to dump some out. Honestly bags would have been easier. I wish they would have taken up some of the room for cards to do something a little more useful here. I have the game plus the two expansions and it's like 1/8 of the card space.

I absolutely love the Broken Token inserts, and this one is no exception. This is the third one I have purchased (I have since bought the 7 Wonders Duel and Caverna organizers). Every wooden piece fight snug into its appropriate hole or slot. The instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend doing what i did, and use a soft rubber mallet to gently nudge the parts together.My favorite part of this organizer is the removeable bits tray. The acrylic top is a very nice touch to keep things from spilling out when it is inserted vertically into the box. There is plenty of room for sleeved cards, though that is not what I chose to do. I also have both expansions and they fit perfectly inside. I didn't use any glue, as the pieces fit so snug, they shouldn't come apart. I did tape the corners of the main tray, just for stability that I probably don't need.I will definitely be purchasing more Broken Token inserts for the games I own!

This is a great fit in the box, it holds all the expansions I have for the game.For assembly the slots and tabs are extremely tight fit, so tight I was afraid I’d break a tab from applying too much pressure. I got around this by just beveling the corners of the tabs with my pocket knife (If you have a hobby scalpel that would probably work best). This made the initial insertion of the tab into the slot easier. Once the tab was in the slot I just used gentle pressure to fully push it in, occasionally using some light taps on the counter to fully set it.

I'm a little addicted to these inserts. I've purchased a bunch (Carcassonne, King of Tokyo, etc.) from The Broken Token's site directly, and they're always great. The wood is laser cut, so obviously it's a perfect fit. I have both the Harbor and Millionaire's Row expansions, sleeved cards, and there's plenty of room for future expansions.I swear I haven't been paid to write this review, I just love these organizers.

Pricey but worth it! Keeps everything orderly. I would have given it five stars if it. Was $20 or less...and if it had come with a few more dividers. That would be more helpful. Otherwise great product and fits perfectly !!

I really wish it didn't cost so much, but I do understand the price. Fits fantastic and makes playing the game so much more manageable. We are going to get other organizers for some of our most often played games.

Keeps the game pieces organized, probably making them last longer. Fits perfectly in the box. Would give it the 5th star if they had included more dividers for better sorting/ storage.

Awesome solution for Machi Koro storage! Easy to put together. Easy to follow instructions. Feels nice and sturdy. Definitely recommend.
