I personally have numerous devices plugged into my Chromebook simultaneously...an external monitor, a wireless USB mouse, a wireless USB-keyboard, my power source for the Chromebook, a Micro-SD card, etc. If I want to "go-mobile", I have to unplug everything and then repeat the process when I return...NOT FUN! With this adapter, I now have EVERYTHING plugged into this one device! The only thing plugged into my laptop now is the one USB-C plug from this adapter and I can easily unplug it and go! This has made my life SOOOOOOO MUCH easier! I can now grab my laptop and go from my office to my kitchen, family room, bedroom, etc in seconds! No more fumbling around with multiple cables and plugs. If it had a headphone jack my life would be even better but that's a small, insignificant detail that I'm not going to sweat over. The build quality is incredible...all-aluminum body, rock-solid design, and simple to use. This one adapter has made my life so simple and uncluttered!

There's a ton of these adapters out there, and the best thing you can say about one is that it just works when you plug it in. This does exactly that, giving me the opportunity to run dual monitors, power, and USB-A ports out of a single device for my MacBook Pro. It's well crafted and feels like it will last a long time.Update: This worked great for about 6 months, but unfortunately it just stopped working. For the price, it was still a good value, but unfortunately it's back to look at another brand for purchase with this one not lasting as long as I wanted.

I have two exteneral monitors to connect to my Macbook pro. My previous USB C HDMI adaptor has only one HDMI port. So I have to use two adapters to connect two monitors. Of course it would be ideal to use one adapter to connect two monitors. I found a few docker station with 2 HDMI ports but cost a lot. This NGE adapter is the only one I found has prefect match and low price tag.I tried it for 2 days, it works very well. Now I can travel with only one adapter instead of two.If I have to find a few future improvement to be done, they would be 1) the surface get a little big warmer than my previous single HDMI adapter. 2)It is a little bit thicker.Since I only used for 2 days, I have no idea about its durability. We will see as time goes. So far, it is a good choice.

For those of you working from home with 2 monitors, you need something that extends to 2 separate displays from your macbook air/pro. This does not do it. It has 2 hdmi ports, but extends the same image to both monitors or mirrors the desktop. No way to get it to have a separate output from each hdmi.That being said, the build quality seems to be great and as mentioned in the description, the space gray color matches my macbook pro perfectly. Just doesn't fit my needs since I need 2 *separate* hdmi outs.

The NGE 7 in 1 Multiport Adapter is like a Swiss Army Knife for your PC or laptop and its build quality appears to be very good. Of course you run dual 4K monitors which is a great feature on its own. However, the ability to stream full size images/videos from your portable devices is super handy when trying to share with your family and friends. Due to COVID restrictions, I am teleworking and had to use the monitor I normally use for my home security system for my work laptop display. When I wanted to review video footage on my Network Video Recorder, I was forced to use my phones screen to view the video feed. Not anymore! By using the USB-C port to connect to my phone, I was able to stream the video to my HDMI input on my work monitor and see the video in full size. This feature alone made this a great purchase. However, the adapter continued to prove itself as a super useful tool when I wanted to transfer photos from my phone to a USB drive. simply plug in a USB 2.0 or 3.0 memory stick and transfer directly from your phone. So much easier than transferring to my PC and then transferring to the USB drive. You can also transfer photos and files to SD or Micro SD cards as well. I wasn't sure if I would use all the ports before I bought it but it has proved to be super handy for many basic tasks and takes up very little space in my computer bag. I know I will find many more uses for this device in the future but I'm very plesed with its usefulness already. Highly recommended.

This product matches my macbook pro perfectly (see photos). I personally would have preferred to have a longer cord because my macbook sits on top of a stand, but it's better than having several different adapters attached to my computer since apple switched from USB to USBC.I don't have a 2 monitor set up, but having 2 HDMI ports will be useful for those who do. I like being able to plug a single wire in and having 2 USB slots, an SD card reader, HDMI, and a USB for power all in one. I prefer it to Apple's USBC converters because theirs are all white, and this one blends in great!UPDATE 9/3/2020: THe HDMI plug would only work 50% of the time, so I asked Amazon for a new one. The new one only continued to work half the time also. I think there is a glitch with the device, and so I am bringing my star review down to 2 stars. I had to return it since the HDMI was important for me.

Laptops and tablets are coming with less connection options these days. There are many dongles available but you end up with a bag full of them and the one you need is still on your desk at home. The solution to that is a hub. The problem there is one that does everything is too big and/or heavy to carry around or too expensive to leave the house. This product has changed all of that for me. It's small and light. Has all the input options I need for my day to day and the price is great.I even find myself bypassing my home hub in favor of this one. Great addition the laptop bag.
