Best desktop/bookshelf speaker stand available
I bought these stands for my Ascend Acoustic Sierra 1's. I have built-in bookshelves and I needed to have the speakers on the top of the cabinet base portion of the bookshelves, which is about 28 inches from the floor. I didn't want the speakers shaking the bookshelves so I set out find a some isolation speaker stands. We'll the only things I could find were blocks of foam, some angled some not, not much choice. Thankfully I did manage to find the IsoAcoustics stands. What do they say about any port in a storm? I didn't want the foam stands so I figured what did I have to lose. I mean the concept seemed logical. WOW! I did not expect the improved performance from my speakers. The Sierra 1's are audiophile quality speakers, but the IsoAcoustics stands really let the speakers shine. I auditioned Definitive Technology SM 55's with these stands and they also helped the performance of the SM 55's significantly, but not as dramatically as they did with the Sierra's. Mostly because I think the Sierra's are much better speakers.I think that these stands allow speakers to live up to their full potential. These stands will eliminate the vibration artifacts that normally impacts the audio performance of any speaker. By eliminate the vibration artifacts it really helps the sound. The impact at low volume listening levels is fantastic, it doesn't require cranking up the volume to concert levels before vibration starts to hurt the sonic performance of any speaker, and these stands are proof of that fact. Loud or soft these stands improve the performance of the speakers sitting on them. These stands are head and shoulders above the foam speaker stands, and I think that anyone who cares about sound reproduction should try the IsoAcoustics speaker stands.

These stands will not disappoint!
I bought a pair of Vanatoo Transparent Ones and was in the market for some stands. These Isoacoustics were the only stands offered on their website so I assumed they were good. I did a bit of research on these stands as well as others but the Isoacoustics seem to always top majority of the reviews I've read. There are a bunch of youtube clips of A/B comparisons with and without the stands showing an obvious difference in sound. I was a little skeptical on its claims and thought the price was a little high but the countless awesome reviews on these stands made me purchase them.Once I unboxed the Isoacoustics, I wasn't blown away by the build quality. It was like I expected it the plastic stands to be. However, fully assembled, the stands were a little heavier than I expected. I had set these stands assembled with the shorter length rods and they are super sturdy with the Vanatoos on them. I haven't tried the longer rods yet so I can't say if they are just as sturdy. As soon as I turned on the music with these stands, HO CRAP, I couldn't believe my ears. It definitely removed the muddy sound of the lower end and gave a pretty good amount of improvement in overall clarity. The sound of the instruments, vocals, bass just sounded a lot cleaner. The imaging also did improve which was plus. I honestly didn't expect these stands to provide that much improvement in sound. It was probably the best $110 I've spent. You can't go wrong with these stands and will not regret the purchase. I wouldn't consider myself an audiophile (maybe borderline) but more of a music enthusiast who really really appreciate the sound of music. It takes a lot to surprise me and these stands surely did that!

No way.... lol
Using these with a a pair of cheap-ass KRK Rokit 5 G3's.Based on the overwhelming (and borderline suspicious) positive online response for these isolation stands, I was prepared for some slightly improved bass/midbass response, or at the very least least.... a modest reduction in bass resonance transferred to the equipment and desk the speakers are currently perched on.I wasn't expecting so quickly and accurately pinpoint and track a synth baseline THROUGH THE STEREO FIELD on one of my current favorite tracks (Myrtle Avenue by Floating Points), nor was I expecting this fascinating world of lower frequency detail that I had sort of heard in a pair of B&W Nautilus 805's I had previously owned (notwithstanding these speakers' stunning other qualities, the general lack of detail in <250Hz timbres stands in relation to the Rokit5G3's). I will agree on defining the improvement as a "tighter" bass response, in conjunction with an increase in texture and detail in frequencies you rarely hear on consumer audio systems (from AirPods to Beats to contemporary car audio systems), which is both a plus for accurate mix translation, as well as just more enjoyable to listen to.As a whole the 1) bass clarity, 2)bass/midbass texture/general detail, and 3)general feeling of dynamic range have all increased in a level I feel worth the $100, HOWEVER......all the reviews are also correct in stating the inflated cost of this product. The general shape and damping characteristics of the tubes and plastic top and base are most certainly not engineered to such a painstaking level that they need to recoup any R&D. No... these should be 34.99, and I hope that a chinese company can circumnavigate whatever copyright block is keeping someone from making a competing product, because unfortunately these acoustic isolation stands are not $100 worth of engineering, but rather $34.99 worth of decent looking and decently-built isolation stands that use very basic tried-and-true isolation engineering.TIP: I bought two $5 4-packs of rubber furniture feet (thin, black,, 2" dia) from Ace Hardware prior to these isolation stands, and even these "isolating feet" produced an audible improvement to both me and my roommate. ISOLATION IS IMPORTANT. The surface area of your speaker drivers is small compared to the surface area of all the random resonating surfaces your speakers are sitting on and making vibrate!

A must have for any studio!!
It has made a huge difference in the room. Now, my low to low-mids are well-defined and stereo imaging is crystal clear. Fantastic product!

Simply awesome
These are really such great accessories. They are stylish, extremely well built and do exactly what they claim to do. You can decide for yourself whether acoustic isolation improves the sound quality - I think it probably does but I haven't done any testing to prove it. If you are going to buy any kind of desk or table stand then I can't recommend these enough. To put this in perspective, there is a higher end model made from aluminum but I can't see any reason why you would ever want to buy this. This model is made from plastic with metal uprights but the quality is so high that the plastic looks like it's powder coated. The picture shows only a single set of uprights, but it does come with two sets. The plugs allow you to set the incline with either one insert or two. The inserts are either 3/8" or 1/2". This allows for a difference of either 3/8", 1/2" or 7/8".I previously use a wedge design at desk height that angled upright at a fairly steep angle. This worked well enough. With these stands I opted for the full height with no incline. This put the speaker at the proper listening height and really shows off the stands. The piano black speakers really stand out on these stands.I could not identify a flaw other than perhaps the price but the value is there so no complaints from me.
