Clueless 25th Anniversary Steelbook (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray] [2020] [Region Free]

Hah so what can I say... this film is a guilty pleasure of mine! Recently introduced my daughter to it and she loved it as well. The Steelbook is amazing and will be displayed on the wall.Brimming with classic one-liners ("Way harsh Tai" and "You're just a virgin who can't drive spring to mind) and a mind-blowing cacophony of 90s fashion – hello, knee socks – Clueless has dated only insofar as it now defines its decade's aesthetic, but remains as fresh and funny now as it did (brace yourself) 19 years ago. It was the first time we'd seen someone under the age of 30 using a mobile phone, and was definitely the first time we saw a touchscreen used in a non-science-fiction movie.It's also notable for the parade of now-familiar faces like Donald Faison (Scrubs) and was when the world fell in love with Brittany Murphy's laugh, and discovered the now-eerily ageless Paul Rudd. We're telling you – there's an attic somewhere hiding a portrait of him that would make your brain explode.

A very funny, sweet film very losely based off Jane Austen's Emma. The main points of similarity is the main character is a young woman, confident, assured, funny, popular, rich, living an easy care free life, looking after her dad and playing the matchmaker with her friends.The character though is American, the location is moved to Beverly Hills and its main setting is a high school. Naration is provided too, a bit like a book.The film holds up surprisingly well considering it came out 25 years ago. The music, fashion, hairstyles, home decoration etc all look really good, even in 2020. Its not full of big 70s hair, dated 80s tech or awful 90s CGI thankfully. In the end its the pure charm and cuteness of the main character that carries this film. If you didn't like her then there's no way this could have worked.The film has a very bright colourful look which lots did back then, especially teenage films. Whether its day or night though everything looks great. The main characters love wearing bold primary colours, reds, yellows, whites, etc. The exception is the older step brother who wears more grey somber colours to reflect his more grown up.The film is a 12 though it does contain drug and sex references.The characters are fairly simple and not terribly deep. The teachers are over the top and cartoonish. The film does not take itself seriously at all, the tone is light and breezy.

I'm currently building a collection of my favourite movies of all time & for my Wife, this is her all time "bestie".This steel book really stands out amongst the others on the shelf.If you're an avid fan I'd recommend getting this blu ray for the casing & for the movie itself.Clueless really captures the essence of high school drama, young love, peer pressure & fun. It portrays the exact lifestyle of a young adult in America.Swift delivery.Very kind courier.

An excellent film with great dialogue and characters, a superb cast and interesting extras. Picture quality is very good in HD too.

really cool book with images and cards I dislike the poster because its folded, wish the book was as big as Mean girls burn book edition.but really cool release nonetheless
